Welcome to yet another Edition of the Anvil! To be totally honest with my readers, I’m more proud of this article than any other I have written. I’ve poured every ounce of my heart and soul into it and I hope you enjoy it. This is an article that I put a lot of work into and had a lot of input from some friends inside our allies in EDEN. Hence it is a very, very special Edition. I’m hoping this article makes it to the top 5 in the eUS to get the maximum number of people seeing it, so please do you part and vote and if you like it please sub I need 180 subs till I achieve Medal Mogul, Sorry had to include a little toll for your passage this time 😛 Anyways onto the substance of this Edition.





I want to say something to the eUS public when they read this; it’s not meant to insult you but to help open your eyes, which is always the purpose of my paper. In my honest opinion, the eUS public suffers from an affliction I have dubbed, “Locked Out Syndrome”. In the most basic terms it means that if something doesn’t affect the eUS directly it doesn’t matter and it’s not important to know about. People we all need to realize that it DOES MATTER! The world is a giant pool; one ripple has an effect across the entire surface. If a nation in say Asia gets PTOed it will eventually affect us because of the nature of the war we are fighting there. Or if say the President of a Phoenix-Aligned country in Europe gets impeached what will his successor do? He could attack an ally drawing us into the fight.

All the time I hear people talk about EDEN and our Allies but we all take for granted the faces behind our Allies. The name of this article is telling, “Acta Sanctorum”, its Latin, it means “Deeds of the Saints”. I want eAmerica to think about these things, just because they don’t happen in the eUS doesn’t mean it won’t eventually affect us. So this article is going to be about that and show you the world outside the eUS and introduce you to some of our Allies in this global struggle which we endeavor to win.





First, before I go on to the bigger part of this article I wanted to mention each of our Allies. I so rarely see them all put together to I think the same is true for you the reader 🙂 Our Allies who we have the privilege and honor of fighting beside in our quest to push Phoenix back into its corner of the world.



Greece, Romania, Poland, Canada, Israel, China, India, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland, Japan, South Africa, Philippines, and Australia.

I have indeed decided to make this a regular part of my articles; today’s awarding is going to be a little bit different though to go along with the theme of this article. For the first time I’ll be a warding this to a foreigner, but people from other countries can still be awesome. It’s time to name the next three people who are on my list of awesome people. It’s time to hand out DK’s Award for Awesomeness!




The people that I have chosen to receive the award this time are…





Many of you may be wondering who Reiji Mitsurugi is? I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Reiji back in October of 2009 during my term as eUS Ambassador to Japan. He was the Vice Chairman of a large Japanese Party and Minister of Foreign Affairs in Japan for a very, very long time. This is a man who can argue with you until the sun comes up and you’ll love every minute of it. He’s a great guy as well as a really talented one. He’s done a lot of great things for his country and he was always willing to talk to the eUS even when they were part of PEACE. As he once said to me, “I am the John Hancock of eJapan”. Reiji is an awesome guy and I highly recommend getting to know him if you ever have the chance.


The next award winner is….




An unconventional pick considering he started the game as an American but I choose him anyway. I first met the immortal Scrabman in early October of 2009. Of course I had heard of him before them since I joined the game in the last days of his administration. I started talking to him on a more regular basis after that. I once ran as a blocker in a race with Scrabman as well during the time that Canada held onto Alaska for us during the NA Invasion. He won as a blocker in that election starting his career in Canada where he resides to this day. He was a 3 Term eUS President and now is the shining model of Brolliance Unity. Scrabman is an utterly awesome dude he so needs a medal for it.


The last winner this time is…




A lot of you may not know who Goran Thrax is but some of you may. He is an eCanadian and has been around for quite some time. He is a four term Congressman, served in many Minister Positions, was Speaker of the Congress, a former Vice President of Canada, and currently the Chief Justice of the Canadian Supreme Court. I first met Goran about seven months ago when I was given access to the Canadian Congress as the part of the Brolliance Congressional Exchange Program. This was during his time as the Canadian Speaker of the Congress, he ruled with his holy crocodile like fist and was equally as awesome since the Canadian SoC’s power make the eUS Speaker of the House’s powers(pretty much none) look like Mini-Me. It was quite the learning experience for me compared to the eUS Congress and Goran was there to help me get adjusted when I asked. If you haven’t met him I highly recommend it, he had an awesome way of pwning Congressman, so I think his awesomeness needs and award.

As eAmericans we rarely decide to see the true world beyond our little bubble and the people living there. Just because we see people like Josh Frost, Harrison Richardson, Chocolate McSkittles, Colin Lantrip, Max McFarland 2, Woxan, and many others as true heroes it doesn’t mean they are the only heroes in the great and vast eWorld in which we reside. The men and woman who stand shoulder to shoulder with us are our great allies, but sadly their faces are rarely seen by the eUS public behind the flags of their countries. Today I am here to rectify that situation. These men and woman are the unsung heroes of the eUS, the Brolliance, and EDEN as a whole. It makes me proud to be able to introduce them to you.

Alpho
Nation:Romania


Alpho is special breed of leader. He is the newly elected President of eRomania and previously served two terms as the Romanian Minister of Defense. He is also the Commander of the Soimii Patriei (Homeland falcons). In EDEN he serves as the Military Organizer, working closely with 1ronman(Whom I will introduce later.) to make sure the EDEN support gets to the right place at the right time and make sure they are armed and ready to fight. His work both in Romania and in EDEN is essential to the continued security of EDEN and to wining the battles we wage against Phoenix. Alpho is a Hero of eRomania, the eUS and the EDEN Community.


4fun
Nation:Sweden


4fun was the current Swedish Minister of Defense until he stepped down on the 6th of June and has been for the past two months now(Not counting this month). In Sweden, Minister of Defense is the highest rank one can achieve in their Military. He has worked deep inside the Swedish Military HQ since September of last year. As MoD he acts as the Liaison between EDEN and Sweden’s President helping to coordinate their armed forces with those of the rest of EDEN. In more America relevant terms he is their Harlot or NXNW. He is a former Supreme Commander of Swedish Forces and former Deputy Minister of Defense. His actions allow Swedish Forces to fight besides our allies and fight with us when we most need them; he is an unsung hero of eAmerica, eSweden, and EDEN.


Vingaer
Nation:Poland


Vingaer is by far one of the most awesome people I have ever met. She is a very kind and funny person. She has served one term in Poland’s Congress, but the vastness of her experience is only touched when you look into her experience with foreign nations. She has been Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs more times than I can count and was recently a Presidential Candidate in their elections. She has been EDEN’s Foreign Affairs Officer several times as well and usually plays an important part in all negotiations or talks involving Poland. Vingaer is a good friend of mine and I can say without question or hesitation that she is an Unsung Hero of the eUS, ePoland, and EDEN as a whole. To be honest she deserves a medal for all of her contributions to our alliance. Vingaer has very recently decided to leave the game via Permaban. So this will have to serve as a memorial to her services and her awesomeness.




Avec
Nation:Finland


Avec was born during the Finish Baby Boom in 2008, instead of living in Norway-occupied Finland he decided to go elsewhere. He chose the eUK, where he wound up serving a Term in Congress before leaving the eUK for Finland. There he would serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs, a 3 term Congressman, and Minister of Defense where in a twist of fate he was forced to fight against his former country, the eUK, when they sided with PEACE. After a term of serving as MoD, he was elected President of Finland where he served one term in which he was the man behind the Scandinavian War with Russia where the three small Scandinavian Nations openly defeated and humiliated Russia on the field of battle. After his one successful term he returned to the Military and eventually served two more terms as MoD before he took a vacation from all jobs to just be a soldier. Only two weeks into his vacation, he got a message from EDEN HQ asking if he wanted a seat. He responded that he was fine with being nominated to any seat they saw fit. The next day his got a response and said, “...FFFUUUUUUU”. He had been elected as Supreme Commander of EDEN, the post in which he now resides. He coordinates the EDEN Mobile Forces and fights beside America and her Allies. Avec is a true hero to eAmerica and the rest of EDEN.


mihail.cazacu
Nation:Romania


Mihail.cazacu is an EDEN Spy Master, and an insanely talented one at that. Now before I go on, yes, I have permission to talk about this stuff. He is a former MoFAs and MoD in Romania as well as being Ambassador to many nations. Mihail has been EDEN’s Intel Director since the beginnings of World War 3 in August of 2009. He has never run for congress except in Hungary as part of covert ops. In a quote he told me “I'm not interested in politics therefore it's highly unlikely I would ever run either for Congress or for the Presidency. Unless of course it's part of a covert operation in an enemy country 😃” Whenever he was running the Hungarians were wasting votes to make sure he wasn’t elected. This way the people whom he really wanted to be elected were winning rather easily. This is now much more difficult to pull off since Hungary doesn't have an empire with countless uninhabited provinces anymore. However he and his staff still manage to get people into their congress and as a testament to his work, none of his agents have ever caught. So far only one has revealed his true identity and that was a part of an operation to increase the mistrust and paranoia between the Hungarians from Hungary and the Hungarians from the Hungarian minority in Romania. Some of them (like the notorious Zoli) fight for Hungary and he wanted to make their life there a bit more difficult. As he said to me, “Betrayal and disloyalty have a price - even e-betrayal and e-disloyalty 😉” Mihail.cazacu is a true unsung hero to the eUS and to every EDEN country and I think he deserves a freaking medal.


Freke
Nation:Norway


Freke is the odd man out in eRepublik. By that I mean most of us start out as two clickers and grow from there, not him. Within the week of his birth he had shot up twelve levels and had been elected to Congress in Norway in February of 2010. He has served four terms in Congress; he is also a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and was elected as EDEN’s PR Organizer in mid-April. Not to mention just this past CP cycle he was elected President of Norway. He has worked hard with EDEN and the eUS to keep the public informed as best he can and will now lead his nation for the next month. His contributions to the eUS and our Allies should be recognized. He is a hero of EDEN.





Gabriel Lavanche
Nation:Finland


Gabriel Lavanche is one of EDEN’s invaluable resources. Hailing from Finland he has served seven terms as a Congressman, a Term as President of Finland, four terms as Chancellor of Justice, four terms as Vice President, four terms as a Presidential Advisor/Representative to EDEN, and many others. He currently serves as an EDEN Adviser due to his long service in EDEN, including being the Former Assistant Supreme Commander of EDEN. To quote Gaius Julius, “He was the right hand of Shoots awesome coordination of EDEN. This included handling coordinating 12+ nations, acting as a major diplomatic player for EDEN and working in various strategies that turned around WW III.” In addition he currently serves in the EDEN Mobile Corps, fighting beside the eUS and the rest of EDEN, he is a Hero of the eUS, EDEN, and the Bros.


Carl Friederich Gauss
Nation:Spain


Carl Friederich Gauss is a distinguished statesman. Throughout his time in eRepublik he has been elected to the Spanish Congress 4 times and has served two terms as President of Spain, one in February 2010 and once in April. He led his nation in fighting beside us on the battlefields of Asia and Europe. He currently holds the office of Minister of Foreign Affairs in Spain and is a trusted EDEN Adviser. He has worked hard to help keep EDEN and Spain on the right path. Carl Friederich Gauss is an unsung hero of eSpain, the eUS, and EDEN.


Lilla_T
Nation:Finland


Lilla_T has been an important part of EDEN since its inception. He has served two congressional terms and was the First Finish Minister of Defense. When EDEN was established he served as the Assistant Military Commander then during World War III he was appointed as Military Commander. A post he served until the total liberation of North America. Lilla_T is the man behind EDEN’s greatest military success to date, and a key event for all Americans, when North America was finally liberated from PEACE Forces. After the Liberation of North America, he left the post of Military Commander and is now a Key Advisor to EDEN. Lilla_T is an Unsung Hero of eAmerica and EDEN, and we all owe him a great debt of gratitude for helping us free our great nation. o7


Cerber
Nation:Poland


Cerber is a man of many paths. Ranked 15 in Poland he was born well over a year ago. He has served in many positions in ePoland including Minister of Finance, Minister of Foreign Affairs, five terms in Congress, and of course three terms as President of Poland. He has also served in EDEN HQ as Military Commander. He is unquestionable one of the men that has made EDEN into the ally that it is today. His work with the armed forces has help lead the way to our current situation, Phoenix on the retreat across the globe. These things alone easily make him a Hero of EDEN, ePoland, and the eUS.





1ronman
Nation:Canada


1ronman has been a linchpin in the eCanadian community for a very long time, The former Administer of their Forums and their IRC Channels. He is one of Canada’s oldest and strongest fighters and controls a sizable business empire. He is also one of the most active and successful traders on the ERX Stock Exchange. For the past few weeks after he pulled up stakes in Canada has been fighting with the famed EDEN Mobile Corps. He is a former twelve term Congressman, former Vice President of Canada, and former Minister of Defense to Canada. He is currently a military adviser to his country and has been the Military Commander of EDEN for the past few months. His actions help coordinate all of the EDEN forces with each other and with us to beside us on the battlefield. 1ronman is an unsung hero of eCanada, the eUS, and all of EDEN as a whole.


Durruti
Nation:Spain


Durruti is arguable the father of modern eSpain. A beta giant he has been around since the game first began. He was a seven term Congressman and was President of eSpain back in December. Quoting Gaius Julius, “I would say he was the man behind a good deal of Spain's successes.“ He has served several times as Spain’s Presidential Envoy to EDEN and has played a special part in EDEN since its inception. He is currently a member of the EDEN Mobile Corps. As Gaius Julius also said to me, “He has always been a good friend to the US, tracing back to Atlantis days.”. Durruti is a Hero of the eUS, of eSpain, and a hero of EDEN.


St00r
Nation:Sweden


St00r reminds me a lot of someone in the eUS. Let’s see if you can guess who before I mention it. He is a beta giant. He was elected Mayor of Stockholm in August 2008 during beta and held the post until the release of V1 in October of that year. St00r spent sixteen months as a Congressman, seven of them during beta, over four months as Minister of Finance, and spent over six months as the Caretaker of the Swedish National Bank. He is a very successful economic mind, and in addition to his own company’s he has run many of the nations State-run companies. He was elected as President of Sweden in August of 2009 and served three consecutive terms. He is the Economic Guru of EDEN, serving as the EDEN Economic Organizer and the Assistant Economic Organizer a few times. St00r is the Swedish Ligtreb, there is no question in my mind after talking to him a few times, he is a very bright fellow. I highly recommend getting to know him. St00r is a true Unsung Hero of eSweden, the eUS, the whole of EDEN, and the Brolliance.


I could very well have added more people but I really didn’t want this article ending up like a book, so I had to cut it down. Sorry if you weren’t mentioned or someone from your nation. I never heard back from a few people. The men and women I have mentioned are all true Unsung Heroes and I thought it was time they were give their dues and the respect they deserve.

My guest this time is of course not from the eUS as is the theme of this article. He was born on Day 573 in Poland and joined a Polish Military Organization rising through the ranks. When his organization joined Polish National Army, he became one of its commanders After being discouraged by Polish politics he decided to move to ePeru and he became an active member of the Community. After some time he gained a few positions and eventually was elected President of ePeru. After returning to ePoland he became active in Poland’s politics. He served two terms as Minister of Foreign affairs and then, Commissioner of the Government of StrozeR(Former Presidnet). As of Jun 5th he was elected as President of ePoland! Ladies and Gentleman my guest is….

1. How and when did you join eRepublik?
Last year in June. A friend of mine invited me, and I stayed till today.

2. What is it like to live in ePoland?
Sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating, most of the time is quite boring. Well, now at least I have something to do, but still country must be improved in many aspects in order to become a fine place for eLife.

3. Does it bother you that ePoland is bordered by so many hostile countries?
Sometimes yes. Especially when we cannot move anywhere because of that. But on the other hand there is always someone that we can attack.

4. What would you say is your favorite thing about being President of ePoland?
Probably the fact that after a month I may become one of the most hated person by both people in Poland and by enemies. Basically you are able to achieve some great things or not, meet interesting people, but to be honest it's mainly hard work - you have to like your work to enjoy it. So in general favorite thing about being president of any country is being a president itself.

5. How do you feel about V2?
Unsure. Number of Lana friends is quite large, and from my past experiences I know that game is killed, when you're passing a certain border of commerce.

6. What do you think of Polish Jokes?
There are Polish Jokes, Jew Jokes, Russian, German, Martian, and so on, being able to understand that those are jokes and keeping distance is important. Of course when jokes have some taste.

7. What does Poland think of the eUS?
Hard to tell. Some are still unhappy about the past, some are neutral, and some are treating eUS as ally and/or friend because of various reasons. I suppose it is natural that there are groups with different points of view.

8. What are you plans for ePoland this term?
Improving education, economy and getting some high region. But well - time will tell how much I'll be able to do.

9. Do you believe the problems between our nations are a thing of the past?
Yes, I do. Past is important because we have to take lessons from it, not brag about it endlessly. But in order to move forward we have to look into future. And future is something we have to concentrate on.

10. Since this article will be seen by the eUS Public is there anything you want to say to them?
That our both enations should look into the future. Together, being aware that we have same goals and same aims. Despite the differences between us.
