It is now official, we belong to the eRepublik Defense & Economy Network , also known as "The Brotherhood."?

WHY?
Why join EDEN? It's not like the USA and EDEN did not work well as they were. Joining EDEN just takes away a some of our freedom to progress as a country. I don't buy the whole we will be "more effective" militarily. If the USA and EDEN didn't already fully disclose military strategies and coordinate fully prior to the USA joining, we would never have been so successful in the efforts to remove PEACE from our country, or liberate many peace puppet countries, or pull out those three major victories in Croatia as effectively as we did.
Economically this is a huge mistake. We finally have proper funding going to all our branches of the military, why compromise that? Unless EDEN is willing to give us a few bikini sharp shooters in good faith.
We were loyal, we had an influential voice, and we had freedom to do what was best for OUR country, not having to consider the interests of 12 others.
13 countries now make up the EDEN alliance. Thirteen! You know what else had thirteen?
Yep, and did that turn out well?
Nope.
Regardless of my opinion on this decision, I offer my best to EDEN and our "official" brotherhood.

Joining Eden is not going to end well for the eUSA. Triumph is fleeting. Altruism will become a burden. Beating up the small and weak has always been fun. Stay tuned.

We couldn't say no to them. EDEN came to us with unanimous approval of our joining. Saying no would be a slap in the face to EDEN members, including our Canadian bros.
i don't believe that. If we thanked them for the proposal and offered an accord how could they consider that a slap in the face? We've done everything we can to assist them thus far. Now, if we have other ventures we want to pursue, we have to run it by them. Either way, I suppose, we were damned.
What other ventures? We have acted as one of many eNations belonging to a defensive alliance for several months now. The fact that we are now officially members of that alliance, who share in the responsibilities that that entails, changes nothing ... Unless, of course, we eventually choose not to act only out of defense of us and our allies. 🙂
