Economic Revitalization
Ivan Hat
Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating public or state ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal opportunities for all individuals, with a fair or egalitarian method of compensation.
What people seem to overlook in the real world is that Socialism is a part of most, if not all, of the industrialized nations. Yes, even the United States has forms of Socialism. I seem to have set off a mark with the people within the CRU party and I do not wish to cause such a stir. For the benefit of gaining their trust on my economic plans I will go into more detail about how it will be run if I am elected. ALL of this is subject to change for the better upon discussion.
When I am elected into office I will appoint, or keep, the councilor of finance and treasury. We will work together to create a system in which we can regulate a small number of fledgling companies in the Czech Republic in order for them to prosper domestically and internationally.
How this will work is as follows:
A page on the national forums will be set up for company owners and organizations to sign up for consideration.
A select number of these companies will be selected from the group. It is a possibility all companies will be accepted.
The general guidelines for these companies are:
That they must be Star 1 or Star 2.
They must have active company owners.
They must have existed for at least three weeks
Once these companies are a part of the government's regulation, set guidelines must be followed.
Their prices should remain stable, regardless of the competition (if competition changes the finance minister and I will discuss the needed changes)
Their workers wages should stay stable.
At the end of every week in my administration a set amount of CZK will be given to each of the companies that have followed the simple guidelines.
A government newspaper contractor will be created in order to promote these businesses in order to make sure that they have enough employees to function.
The money given to these businesses can NOT be spent on anything else except upgrades, export licenses and wages.
More rules and regulations can be added later. Things can and should probably be changed through national discussion.

What I would like to discuss now is “what does this mean for the nation?”
It means that more productive jobs will be available to those looking.
It means lower food prices and lower house prices for higher quality items because of competition between government regulated and non-government regulated businesses.
It also means more productive businesses internationally. By offering our lower priced items abroad that means more company income.
Food, Shelter, Wellness, Jobs, Productivity. These are the things my plans are trying to help.
I am not saying this will be 100% successful under my administration, but Something needs to be done about our lifestyles. There's always a possibility for failure and there's always a possibility for success.
Once again I am willing to hear your arguments against my plans as long as it is an argument and not a blind swipe at communism/socialism support. I am willing to change my plans. If elected I will personally work alongside my ministers and the political parties in order to make compromises and changes.

Ivan: It is encouraging to hear that you are willing to discuss and listen to critcisms of this plan. I hope that you will be inviting teh advice of Nezavislost , CRU, and CSS to help you finalise these proposals after you have been elected President.

Of course. I am always open for debate. I tend to welcome it usually lol.
Ivan is our little Karl Marx... . I don´t thing every members of US are for socialism, for example Red Duck, Jajjun... .
FK: Please read carrefully our name, we´re Czech RIGHT Union, it mean we never support socialism.
I´ve said enough about this, So I´m just gonna copy and paste some of my statements.
Food.
Q1 Food in Hungary: 0.0256 Gold
Q1 Food in Czech Republic: 0.04 Gold
It looks like food is expensive in our country. BUT, look at the salaries ( skill 1 ) in Hungary and CZE.
Hungary: 0.06 Gold
Czech Republic: 0.088
So, in the end our Q1 food prices may be a little high, but people get a 1/3 higher salaries here!
Q3 Food costs 0.1166 in Romania, 0.128 in here. Again, no problem.
I can agree that Q4 and Q5 Food is expensive here, but I dont know single person who buys Q4 and Q5 food ( they buy a house instead ).
We have quite high salaries in CZE and most people don´t work every day. That said, companies exporting products would not prosper, because there is bigger competition in other countries = lower prices than in czech republic. So if the company would set the prices so they could sell something, they would´nt even cover manufacturing costs - country would have to give them money, which would be throwing treasury´s money away.
Support of housing is a bad idea - simply because there are few people who would buy a house in Czech Republic.
The bottom line is - government shouldn´t interfere with market, because a) there´s no need for that b) it wouldn´t work.
We don´t need more available jobs, we have enough.
Socialism is not Communism. And I hope that there is scope for cross party co-operation on issues of national interest. Of coursee you don't have to sign up to socialism - but there can be constructive debate.

Remember that Ivan needs congress support for his economic policies. As congress is very likely to be CRU dominated, I doubt that a radical social agenda will be passed, even if Ivan wanted it.

Yes, we´re ready for discussion, but disscusion not mean our agree. We will forever again socialism.
Franz Kafka: I know... .
Franz Kafka: At most of decision he need it. But problem is, they´re some very important economical decision, when he don´t need it... .
Hello Czech republic ! If someone want to help eSerbia can contact me on pm for Moving tickets ! Today is elections day and Croats want to do takeover ! Our party is Patriotska Stranka Srbije and I am in South Serbia...Thank you and Cheers my brothers !
OK, I will like help you, but I can´t, because I am congressman and party president of CRU... .
Could we please stay on topic?
It was just answer to Filip´s post... .
You nay-sayers of Ivan have to realize that whether or not we want to admit it, our economy is in the crapper, and we need massive restructuring our else our country will become weaker and weaker. Ivan Hat may not be the perfect president, but he is the best that we have to offer, and his policies WILL help our nation.
Xavier Havel: I would disagree. Our goverment also make many reforms and this reforms make our economical situation just better. Ivan said many nice words, but it´s only words. His vision about socialism is for me only utopy... .
I am sorry that you think that, but radim I have yet to see many changes for us. It used to be that food was much more expensive, and wages were lower, but it was not the government that stepped up and ameliorated this situation, no it was companies being smarter. We need these "stimulus companies" that will aid our economy.
I would disagree, i think goverment shouldn´t make some big regulations. But everybody have another opinions. Only I think it´s empty words, because 1. Ivan Hat was president two terms and he didn´t something special nad 2. Engine of this game doesn´t support many principes of regulations. This regulations will work very bad a they will be not transparent.
Ivan Hat was never President, and these regulations we make are not enforced by the game engine, but by ourselves
Ivan Hat was president, look at erepublik wiki... .
Radim, I respectfully disagree with you. It's my opinion that regulation - in this case, subsidies to companies that follow government guidelines - is necessary for a successful economy. As the Minister of Social Welfare, I feel I'm obliged to support policies that will make life easier for citizens of the eCzech Republic. Citizens would have access to a greater range of companies with fair, high-paying jobs and cheap(er) food.
AjTyler: Ok, you have another opinion. It´s your opinion... .
As far as the issue of transparency I will make sure to make every action of the government known in public addressed on where the money is going and how much.
Sorry Radim I was just judging upon the "election results" which were blank for his terms (for some reason).
I agree with AJ Tyler, we need these "stimulus companies" to boost our economy, and by offering incentives to begin these companies/make them permanent, we are allowing cheaper items to be created, and more/higher paying jobs
Am I the only one who doesn´t see this "big economic crisis"? I mean I´ve lived here for 3 months and nobody has ever complained about economy. When I started, I had no problems what-so-ever with food, work, etc. and if I did my maths good, it´ hasnt changed yet. Yes, situation with food could be better, but high salaries of companies compensate for that. If anything were to be done for cheaper food, then establish a grain company and producte cheap grain, that will help all the food companies lower their prices.
