eCanada Forums
Holymatt
This article isn't really to discuss much about what's on the forums. Unfortunately, I only recently joined the forums, and I'm working on finding my way around them.
What I've read the forums has been immensely interesting, and it has already helped me understand our government better. I think that anyone looking at getting involved in our Canadian political system should check out the forums. It seems like they are a great way to learn about eCanada, and you can improve relations with other players.
As a final note, I'd just like to ask you,do you use the forums? And if so, what do you think of them? Would you recommend them to aspiring new players?

I recommend those for sure...uh, what was the question?
The forums have a useful and serious place as long as one remembers that at the end of the day, what happens in the game is the most important thing since the game will always trump the forums. Since many people claim the game is boring though and are really about a community though, the forums, and IRC, are vitally important though because without them, you don't get people to play the game.
I say, I agree with Etemenanki
I also agree with Etemenanki. The forums offer a precious set of tools that requires a large amount of upkeep to maintain in proper working order. Working with damaged or malfunctioning tools can lead to unwanted results. The forums need to be kept in good working order and lately that resolve has been not been strong enough, my recent proposal being an example that some people have differing opinions. A while ago, my proposal would have received few votes and there would have been pressure not to propose in-game until the forum debate was concluded.
Something needs tuning to maintain old lines, or something innovative needs to be set up to accomodate for anyone else who gets elected and decides to work stricly in-game.
