Oh wait it's not, it's venja and majester. You couldn't blame me thinking it was XG considering dissolving the senate with no authority whatsoever is a trick of his.
In this article Majester explains that he is dissolving the senate as head of the defence force, technically this could be considered a coup as the defence force has no power over the senate WHATSOEVER.
He also says in the thread "The relevant laws were foolishly repealed by your peers" What laws? Why is the senate being dissolved? I love it how he just walks in and dissolves the senate expecting EVERYONE to know exactly what he is on about without actually elaborating.
Then he goes on to say "The Military Council under Grand Wizard General Venja will organise a democratic forum election with the aid of the Lord's Council"
Majester and Venja, please direct me to which laws state that the military can dissolve the senate and then they can organize elections? and please exactly explain to the eAustralian public why you are illegally dissolving the senate?

the ATO laws, they have been repealed. we have no in game senators, we have no forum senators. so it is up to the trustees of our country.

The senators from the last senate elections should still be in the senate by default.
No where in law does it say the trustees of our country is the military headed by venja and majester.
If anything, the speaker or IG must be the ones organizing it.
Everything said in my article still stands.
Point me to the law which states the military can dissolve the senate.
Also write in the dissolve thread EXACTLY why the senate is being dissolved instead of talking in riddles.
Now binda33 is saying the whole dissolving is a lulz thing. I don't think it is.
The military has no power to dissolve the senate and this sets a bad precedent

Technically Majester is right whereas there is no in-game Senate, but the idea of an action hero military government is lulz. It has as much power in-game as Emma the company secretary 😛

In the absence of any law or in game functionality, and given stated opposition to the prime minister or military taking control, wouldn't the power of the senate have to fall to the Speaker - which ironically was Majester anyway?
There was a lot of talk about maintaining the previous senators. I think perhaps the reason it didn't happen (other than lack of relevant laws) was that a lot of them seemed to leave the country when it fell.
