Drink my poison?

Day 472, 22:06 Published in South Africa South Africa by Browski

There's this little guy sitting inside a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half-an-hour.
Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down.
The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says: "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't see a man crying." "No, it's not that. Today day is the worst of my life. First, I overslept and was late to an important meeting. My boss, outrageous, fired me. When I left the building to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police, they said they could do nothing. I got a cab to return home, and after I paid the cab driver and the cab had gone, I found that I left my whole wallet in the cab. I got home only to find my wife was in bed with the gardener. I left home and came to this bar. And when I was thinking about putting an end to my life, you show up and drink my poison ..."

Well I dont quite feel that bad and it's not the end of the world as we know it. Thanks to all the voters - even the ones who did not vote for me. We had one of the largest turn outs ever in eSA history which can only be good for the country.

I publicly congratulate President McGuire and plege my full support to the president and country.

I would also explaine to some of the new players that elections in eRepublic are a bit of a crazy time. We all start out to say that we will try and be civil but then someone gets freaked because of somthing that is said and then everyone seems to lose a bit of civility. It happens every election - dont stess FA and BLF are not enimies fighting each other at every corner. We do this once a month and then, after election, we all get on with the job of running the country no matter who the president is. This is because most of us are actualy friends and care more about the country than our own agenda, but we just have slighly diffrent views on a few issues. Usualy there are no hard feelings because we know this is just politics and, despite our best intentions, we will do it agian next month.

It was a good election with many new players contributing which is good for SA. Keep it up guys and lets all get behind the President and the ministers for the good of SA.
