eIreland, as the shift to V2 slowly begins to take place and the Admins continue to release more information regarding the switch, the Dail has been plagued with partisanship and pointless bickering. In the next month or two, V2 will be released. These crucial days before the gun fires are all we have to collect our thoughts so we may burst out of the gate full force.
When V2 hits, there are a few ways it can go for eIreland. We could hit the wall; stuck way behind the rest of the New World with a negative mindset. We could slowly stagger into the switch blind and lost. We could emerge as a passive player in the grand scheme of the new world; a nation with everything together, but merely an observer. Or we could emerge beyond the expected potential that the world has for us; with a functional economy, military, populous, and political system.
My dream is that we do the latter. I want to see us enter V2 with a BOOM. The decision is left up to our government in the next few months. And who picks our government, you do eIreland. Keep the future in mind when making your decision.
What will The Dagda do?
Well, first of all, I'm not staggering into the field blind and without a plan. A few people know a little about what I want to do, but I'm keeping this information classified for now. In the next few days, I'm sure all of eIreland will get a better picture of what I will do my best to see accomplished.
Information I may expose: If elected, I will use the experience I have gained in the past few months of playing the game and my non-biased approach to looking at proposals to carefully weigh all legislation that pass through the halls of the Dail. I will keep in mind that BOTH V1 and V2 information must be carefully assessed. We are still operating in V1.
I would also like to steer eIreland away from neutrality and into action. We have sat for too long on the fence, and, despite what we'd like to believe, are not neutral. In the past months great lengths have been made in this crusade, and I'd like to see the progress continue.
