Does Lithuania deserve its own country?

A few people have been saying that Lithuania is getting its own country after the release of V1. However, there are a few problems with this if it happens.
1. As far I can see there are between 50 and 100 Lithuanians worldwide. If they had their own country then there would be a country in the game with a tiny population. They would be very easy pickings for surrounding countries, and the Lithuanians would be back where they started.
2. The country would be a one party state, with very few members. This means that someone could easily come into the country and take it over. It would become a prime target for GOONS and such-like.
3. I personally feel that the Lithuanians contribute quite a lot to this country, considering the language barrier (although they could be more active on the forums), and if some of their members left it would be a loss to the UK.
I want your opinions on this, readers. Please comment on this article with your opinions. Personally I feel that - although some Lithuanians may want it - it would not be wise for Lithuania to spilt from the UK, and it would only cause more trouble.

Seriously though if they want there own country i say give it to them. We can have the paras use it as a drop off / training zone. They would be easy to conquer so why not have eUK take it over once it is created and that way we would have a second front from which could be used as a very foward base for any strategic attacks.

hmmm strange thinking: They would be easy to conquer so why not have eUK take it over once it is created ... or maybe say lets help to defend or smth like that ? ... yes there is not much of lithunians on eRepublik, but with good politics and pacts its posible to live with freedom. It would be interesting to hear other opinion ...
But even in a few months they will not be big or strong enough to defend themselves.
Sorry but as I see Belgium wasnt strong enought to defend too, if several countries would attack eUK and nobody would help to defend I think eUK would be occupied too ... than say how strong must be country ? ... From now its looks like only these countries which have friends and good foreign politics can be safe. But after all, to create lithuania or not, need to ask Lithuanians what they think ... do they want it or not, will they defend it with all their strenght.

There\'s not too much activity on forums from Lithuanians, and not much of us are known.. or if once was, they are forgotten shortly...

Don\'t look at it that way, look at the fact that there are maybe 100 Lithuanians around *even without Lithuania* - hopefully there will be a spike when they have a country, and if not then they should still be able to give it a try.
i think we should get our chance... offcourse if eUK won\'t help us as we did, then our chances to survive will be very very little...
I think that we should get our country, just to try. And if we get conquered, you can just give us Cardiff... Or Perhaps London... Any region will do 😃
