Do YOU Want to Save eGermany?

Citizens of Germany,
I write this article as a proposal to you all. As you all know we are in a very serious situation. We are losing the war against Sweden and Poland, even with the help of our allies. We have lost much, and the Swedish still see the Germans as untrustworthy.
I have spoken with Kalle Holm, president of Sweden. I told him that if I were to make it to presidency, would he be willing to negotiate with eGermany?
We are in a precarious position and really have no power to be making demands. I like Starkad Rorlikson, but he is not willing to make any sacrifices for eGermany. If we want to continue to exist as a nation, we must make some sacrifices.
I told Kalle Holm that eGermany, with me as president, would open up serious negotiations that you may not all like, but like I said, we must make some sacrifices. Many eGermans have an "all-or-nothing" attitude, and Starkad himself said the only negotiations he would make with the Swedish are a complete withdrawal of Swedish troops.
Here is what I say: Why not talk to the Swedish government and show them that Germany is not what they perceive us to be? I am a new leader that is willing to make some sacrifices. Many Germans say that we can not give up Schleswig-Holstein, as it contains much of our companies and economy. I agree, but I also think that, while SH is a high-grain region and is important to eGermany, it is not so vital that we can not function without it.
I believe Kalle Holm sees me differently than our previous German presidents, and that he and his cabinet are willing to make peace with a new Germany. Maybe not one as headstrong as the one before, but that might not be a bad thing. Germans used to feel very high and mighty, but the truth is that we need to accept that we are not the strongest nation in the world, and that sometimes, although we may not like it, we need to sacrifice a few things to continue as a country.
We can make peace with the Swedish, perhaps have a new, stronger bond than ever before, and rebuild our economy. I have spoken with a certain party president about the possibility of gaining his support for president of Germany, but first I need yours!
So, eGermans, do YOU want to save eGermany?

I would consider the proposition of Negotiations decent enough, for the reason that we still have a few days until the next presidential election where we can have you possibly gain the running seat. At that time we can see what has gone with the war and see if it would be worth negotiations. I never object to talking, but that doesn't mean we end the war, possibly when better things may still await us. I think the current time frame is good for this. But I will find it VERY hard to swallow having to give up much of our territory, as I imagine many other Germans will say.
Losing any territory is still not palatable.
Mark I like your initiative, but what you dont realize is that you are NOT a new leader of a new germany, as you like to see yourself....you belong to the same old (slightly opportunistic) "lets join peace"-bunch that got us into this mess in the first place.....I seriously doubt thats gonna impress anyone in Sweden terribly much.
The new Germany started with my government, and if Kalle's junta is too blind to realize that, then they also won't notice the "next new" germany.
Also, two more things Id like to ad😛
a) I am always open to negotiations, as long as they do not equal a "humiliation" of germany, which is what Kalle's aim is.
b) I am not negotiating hard because i am stubborn or unreasonable....but because I know what this country is worth, what potential this country has and most importantly: What we are capable of.
I am not opportunistic, Starkad. I am looking to keep Germany alive, and from what you have told me (keep in mind I am technically part of your administration) I have seen nothing.
Thats one thing you dont realize though....Germany's "aliveness" does not depend on how many territories we old.
Its the SPIRIT that makes us alive.
If we agree to a HUMILIATING peace just to safe a few worthless territories, THEN you will kill Germany.
Peace with eSweden?? Never! Fight back!

That is the all-or-nothing attitude I spoke of.
Actually, Mark, the war is looking brighter for us. What Starkad needs to do is counter-attack. Soon.
I personally don't believe either of you will win the next elections, so I'm not going to put to much of my time into this.
Mark, I appreciate the effort but Kalle, can't be trusted, even if he did say he would be willing to negotiate with you. He WILL demand unreasonable terms that will leave us worse off than we would be fighting for our freedom.
Starkad, I believe that your Germany will live on through spirit sounds patriotic etc, but where is the glory in getting your rear end kicked only to have your nation no longer exist. Sure we can RW again, but the point is to STAY alive and to not be completly wiped out. And that's exactly what your not doing, your okay with us losing, as long as we "try hard and someday we can all come back and get our land back."

That is not a viable answer.
Neither of your approaches are.
Germany will be whole. Sacrificing territories to the Swedish(and by extension of puppethood, Poland) war machine is not a compromise for Germany but an admission of defeat and a declaration that Sweden's actions are all right.
Do not become a puppet like Poland. Kalle Holm's endorsement of your presidency is another facet of his plan of humiliation.
A farce Germany under Swedish control is a worse alternative to complete occupation.
This all-or-nothing attitude confuses me. Surrender, continue to exist, rebuild, and expand, or be occupied, wait a few months, have a few failed resistance attempts, and finally win with outside help?
If Sweden is going to win, they are going to have to earn it by fighting us to the end. Not a premature end that sacrifices what we've worked for.
Who's to say there will be a next time? You said you are different than other German Presidents but here you are talking about waiting and attacking again, just later on.
You cant trust Sweden, especially Kalle Holm. Sweden now declared tree times war against us. Is it not prove enought?
And you cant trust Polen. They fall on our back. We was fightig on there side in ATLANTIS, defending poland, and now they fight against us. We was fighting for Rumania, and now some of them are fighting against us. Dont forget Mark, that Sweden and Poland, mainlee Sweden are responsible for the fail of ATLANTIS.
NO trust for traitors. The only way is, Sweden must stop the war, Polan must stop the war. They must give us our regions back. And then maybee, they can get his reputation back. But i think, that will be wery dificullt for them. Everybody knows they fail.
From what I've seen and read in the last weeks, somehow I doubt that Kalle is interested in serious negotiations with us... So it's kind of moot to discuss about all-or-nothing attitude here while our enemies seem to cultivate a very-much-nothing attitude.

Sweden does not endorse any specific candidate in any nation as far as I know.
If Germany through their leaders are interested in negotiating the doors are open and I'm sure our goverment is interested in having a chat with you.
As MoD I only have have goal and that is to win the war that our elected congress, goverment and president have ordered the armed forces to do. Besides that mission we will of course still help our friends in their operations.

I'm not sure negotiating would work, even if we somehow manage to get this 'New Germany' image across.
If Kalle's reasoning for the invasion of Germany was, basically, 'for fun' then we cannot argue and/or negotiate with it.
I believe that an all or nothing attitude never got anyone anywhere, however if we did negotiate and give the SH region to Sweden just as long as they don't expand further I don't believe they'd stop the expansion as, quite simply, they're doing it for fun.

Dear Mister Wahlberg, Your initiativ in honor, but befor You go with such ideas into world public, You should try to discuse this case "at home", even in the eGerman Forum.

Negotiations can and will inevitably happen, what the terms dictate is up to the parties in question. It's true, we have been pushing for a non-appeasement policy and I find that at the moment an acceptable and reasonable move towards the current political sphere.
However if we are forced to communicate, the government is always willing to listen. To accept is a whole different think though. If Kalle Holm wants to negotiate peace, he knows where to contact either me, Elisa or any member of the German Administration.
Other than that, it's mantaining the war. If you find Starkad's communication be 'patriotic' well look at the situation we're in, we need something. Unless you have some better solution Verloen, might as well say nothing 😛

If it was only about SH the war could be over long time ago. There is no point in negotiating anything with eSweden under a government with Kalle, for previously mentioned reasons.
To look at it from the positive side, it kind of does make the game more interesting if we are all honest. Otherwise we would be back at pressing our two buttons a day and logging of instead of debating here.
Debate is good but I dont think we should open another frontline within Germany considering the current situation. Its not the time for panic proposals.
I can only agree with those that are against negotiations. The reason I'm commenting on this is to ask Mark Wahlberg to stop his campaign NOW. We can't afford a new government in a situation like this. It takes ages to get it running and that's what we can't afford right now. Furthermore we all need to stay together, fight the traitors and push them out of our land! When that's done we can start having political discussion again, but don't do it now. Please
