Do or Die for NaN

Day 1,999, 09:21 Published in South Africa South Africa by SamGibz

In my moment of procrastination from real life I have decided to write an article to express my views on why it is a do or die time for NaN. I came back to the game around a month ago with no knowledge or our situation although much was the same. I found there to be a new alliance formed, NaN. Not being in government or in the “top 5 positions” (CP, VP, MoFA, MoD, CoS) I had no idea what the situation was with the alliance. As time went on, I found NaN to be very quiet and as soon as I became MoD, this was confirmed. There was very little co-ordination between each country and the forums are pretty much dormant. I made it my mission to bring co-ordination between the nation of NaN to strengthen ourselves. I strengthened relations with the MoD for ePakistan whom shared my views, and so does our President, Ejdatful, for reference. The difficulty was that we couldn’t home our abilities to do this when there was a lack of anything happening within the alliance. It is also difficult to have all the appropriate people online simultaneously.

I joined the IRC yesterday with confusion. I had on my mind the possible NE from eBrazil in order to retake WC. I find that a RW has opened up between eBrazil and eSA in EC. That eAus are in a RW with eChile. And eMalaysia are going for a return against eMontenegro. The latter point I had previously learned was a plan a day prior, but it was agreed to meet before and plan. This had not happened, do not let this take away from their fabulous victory, but here lessons must be learned. Allow me to go off topic momentarily. eBrazil’s NE fell through thankfully, it is the views of a minority of their congress and government. There was much call to stand in EC and confusion between which side to fight for. eIndo had RW posing as eSA. It was vital that eIndo didn’t take the region, but eBrazil had this more than covered and at the time there was no clarity in eBrazil’s actions (and there isn’t now in my opinion). It was my judgment and the view of others that firstly, eBrazil will always want to maintain EC and would ensure it would stay in their hands, that eBrazil is capable of winning it without eSA, that eSA could not determine what eBrazil may have planned and that there could be something just around the corner and we may have wasted efforts. I also learned that we had promised military aid to eAus, but their RW was just a punt and not their focus. Instead, NaN members were turning their heads towards eMalaysia. I saw it vital that we must help eMalaysia and show we are part of NaN, that we are serious about NaN and it was an excuse to come together.

Yesterday was not just a victory for eMalaysia, but a victory for NaN also. There was some cohesion between the countries. We were all fighting for the same cause with the same determination to win, fighting all for the same reasons. Unfortunately, being a RW it is not possible to make it a DO and so I am aware that this has impacted on how the citizens logging on would fight. I am saddened that perhaps you have not been able to be part of this victory or feel good about what has happened. To see the leaders of each nation come together organise mercenaries and people to fight, checking the stats and bonding together, brothers in arms.

It is do or die time for NaN because unless we build on this momentum now, it may stall. We need to show positive action so bring our allies closer and to come out with a single message and a single goal. We must turn our attention to another situation within NaN and help each country better their situation in turn. One day, NaN could be an alliance to be reasoned with. It is essential that eSA seek MPP’s with the nations, for the good of NaN and then the good of the eSA. Our people can see the DO and fight with pride for eSA and for NaN. We all long to be part of something bigger and this could be it.

Hail eAustralia!
Hail eSouth Africa!
Hail eMalaysia!
Hail eCyprus!
Hail ePakistan!
Hail eSaudi Arabia!
Hail NaN!
