Dishmcds - Interview with the Presidential runner up

Day 287, 06:20 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by CV James

Since Paddyohale's departure as leader of UK Reform there have been numberous leaders who have come and gone. After arriving from his time in eUSA, during which he enjoyed the role of Presidency, Dishmcds came to eUK for a life out of politics yet still ended up at leader of the largest political party in eUK and the 17th largest on eRepublik.

He fought an extremely close general election with KIA Sneak on September 1st but narrowly missed out by 5 votes. We talked yesterday morning about his thoughts on a few issues.

1) What have you learnt as your time as a politician abroad that youfeel you can offer eUK?

Well, my time in the US was fairly well rounded, spending time as a business owner, Secretary of Defense (UK Equivalent to MoD), Vice President, and President spanning 7 months. The most important thing, to me, is being open minded and willing to try new things. Not everyone enjoys the same thing, so we, as Government must realize that the more people we involve the better off we're all going to be.

2) Considering you stated you had no interest in eUK politics when you arrived here, what would you say to critics who suggest you will not give the post of president or UKReform Party President your full attention?

Well, honestly, I don't think any of my critics can even bother saying I wouldnt spend the time to do my best, and my track record proves that. I explained the series of events that led to me being PP only a few days ago, so I'll let the voters do the talking.

3)What are your views on the crisis regarding eUK"s shrinking population?

I'm not sure if it's a crisis just yet. Remember our Paratroopers were deployed to Romania, some are in Ireland, and I think some of the recently deceased were probably multi accounts made during the population boom. Even still, we'll need to work extra hard to find out which ones are which, starting with our horrendously long CV list.

4) Do you fear a new world war due to the Romania-Hungary conflict, considering Romania is a member of ATLANTIS and Hungary is a member of PEACE? What should eUK"s position be should a world war break out?

Well, the War has already broken out, really. All of the involved countries in both Pacts are involved in one way or the other, and the UK will stand behind our allies. As our world is ever-evolving, that's probably the most complete statement I can make on the subject.
