A two term president of the United States of America, an avid writer, and a businessman.
Dishmcds has publicly stated that he shall not be running for another term as president come the August general elections.
What is to become of him? Well he's starting up a band of mercenaries of course! What else?!

Skinny Bones Jones caught up with Dishmcds earlier today after he attended the premier of a new film that was based on the great war of Canada - USA. The film is called "Attack of the Giant Bugs", and is out now in a cinema near you.

The interview:

SBJ:
The news of your retirement must have been like receiving a Q9 gift to your rivals in other USA political parties. Do you have any advice for the budding american presidents?

Dish:
Well, it has certainly made our Presidential race more interesting this time around. Our last elections were somewhat non-competitive with myself as the clear choice (at least in my opinion), not to mention I was the only one who campaigned for it. I think with my retirement, which was announced well in advance, we've seen a few new leaders step to the front and that has helped us tremendously. For the most part, I think my rivals are actually a bit saddened to see me go, in a way, but maybe that's wishful thinking.

SBJ:
You recently took gold from the Turkish government in exchange for the cancellation of the USA - Greece MPP. Was this move driven by your wallet or your conscience?

Dish:
Some claim I was paid to do my job, which is completely false. Greece picked their own fight with Turkey, who hadnt done anything globally since their takeover of Israel in April. Now, in my opinion, picking a fight with a country that has shown itself to be peaceful for the most part just means you need some of your own medicine. I saw no reason to waste our National Wellness or supply on a country that doesnt care about it's own sovereignity. The Gold was simply a bonus.

SBJ:
America has had a shed load of Mutual Protection Pacts for a long time now. There have been recently hints of cancellations and "side-taking". How do you see America's foreign relations going in the future?

Dish:
The US has remained fairly neutral, but the emergence of some new countries is forcing every country in the world to decide, really. With Pakistan turning it's back on Turkey, the population boom in both Greece and Turkey (as well as Brazil last month), and the nullification of the MA has opened just about everyone's eyes to what the possibilities are if they dont choose strong allies. I can't confirm or deny the US's involvement in those talks, but as a leader if I didnt listen to the possibilities, then I would be closing a blind eye to my country's best interests.

SBJ:
What is the one thing that you have done whilst being president of e-USA that you want to be remembered most for?

Dish:
Well, I dont know if I could pick one thing, really. I think if I had to, it'd be my constant activity and care to my country. I have always had pride in leading by example. I simply thought that if I expected someone else to follow me based on what I had done, I couldnt just quit and claim that I had done things six months ago and that was good enough. I needed to lead my people, not order them around.

SBJ:
According to your wiki, you have been in the heart of American politics since January '08. Your CV must look brilliant. What do you see yourself doing two months from now?

Dish:
I'll probably retire from politics for good, but I plan on travelling, fighting in wars as either a merc or freelancer, and running my companies. I plan on landing in the UK on Aug 2nd, as I owe some people some long awaited eDrinks.

SBJ:
What is your favourite aspect of erepublik?

Dish:
I like the fact that it takes a creative mind to really thrive in Erepublik. Anyone can two click, but it takes someone willing to put the time and energy into making an idea go, rather than holding down the X button on a controller. It's much more involved in the Economic side and things have long term effects, so being able to shoot aliens isnt a skill that translates well here.

SBJ:
Tell me about your mercenaries, is it for gold, glory, or something else?

Dish:
Being a mercenary for me is simply another step to say that I have accomplished something. I havent ever left my country for anything that isnt considered business, so I will be actually enjoying myself wherever I land. I'll still be posting articles, but I plan on doing some more creative writing rather than itinerary schedules . So, it's more for fun and activity than anything else. Gold is always nice though.

SBJ:
In closing, is there anything you wish to say?

Dish:
I hope everyone enjoyed the movie. It was produced as a joke, but it seems to be getting rave reviews. For anyone I have worked with in these 7 months, maybe I'll be dropping in on you at some point.

Well there you have it.
I remember when Dish had a saucy avatar of a woman in a bikini who seemed to be playing with fire. Could this be symbolism of someone who looks so inviting but also likes to take risks, or could it just be a picture that Dish thought was hot?
Well I have no clue, but I do know that Dishmcds has done a lot for the USA, and I hope he sticks around the UK for more than just a few e-pints.
