For the past 775 days the Norwegian Green Party has been a staple in Norwegian politics however today I am happy to announce the formation of Det Norske Parti! The NGP leadership has been discussing the best possible way to make use of our party while still under threat from the Chileans and it was decided that being able to give every true Norwegian a home, despite past political stripes was the best possible thing we could do.

We already have some political refugees amongst us from the old Partiet and NEC parties so it only seemed right to represent everyone as best as we could, not just the old NGP membership. Of course we would like to eventually return to our Green roots but for now the call of our nation is to great to ignore.

We need hope over fear, we need compassion over competition. We need to recognize that Norwegians deserve a government where our Congress Members and appointed officials figure out how to work together. Whether the number 1 or number 2 party we are elected to serve the people of Norway, not any one single political ideology.


Please join us as we look to create a new inclusive home for all of our stranded brothers out there who are looking for a home that can represent us all in our quest for freedom.

Here is to you Norway and to squashing partisan politics in the hopes that we can rise up together to defeat the Chilean threat once and for all!
