Democracy = plain Democracy or not?

Who ever thought democracy was plain democracy?

To all the leaders of the new world. Think long and hard before you decide what kind of ruler you want to be! Know your country, know your people! A well informed CP is the best placed to reach his countries goals.

This article was necessary to write because in the following articles I will analyse all the different countries of the new world. Curious of what you will learn? Stay tuned to doublestandard and find out!

What do you want?

1) Agnostic Pluralism what accepts conflict as inevitable and should be channeled in a productive way. Agonists believe that we should design democracy so as to optimize the opportunity for people to express their disagreements. However, they also maintain, we should not assume that conflict can be eliminated given sufficient time for deliberation and rational agreement. In other words, conflict has a non-rational or emotional component

2) Anticipatory democracy which relies on some degree of disciplined and usually market-informed anticipation of the future, to guide major decisions. Anticipatory democracy is a theory of civics relying on democratic decision making that takes into account predictions of future events.

3) Constitutional democracy is a democracy governed by a constitution.

4) Defensive democracy is a situation in which a democratic society has to limit some rights and freedoms in order to protect the institutions of the democracy. For example in the Real World ten countries in Europe have outlawed Holocaust denials .Being France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic and Lithuania.

5) Deliberative democracy which focuses on hearing out every policy alternative, from every direction, and providing time to research them all. Deliberative democracy, also sometimes called discursive democracy, is a system of political decision-making that relies on popular consolation to make policy. In contrast to the traditional theory of democracy, in which voting is central, deliberative democracy theorists argue that legitimate lawmaking can arise only through public deliberation.

6) Demarchy is a form of democracy which has people randomly selected from the citizenry to either act as representatives, or to make decisions in specific areas of governance (defense, environment, etc.). Demarchy, in theory, would overcome some of the functional problems of conventional representative democracy, which is widely subject to manipulation by special interest and a division between professional policymakers (politicians and lobbyists) vs. a largely passive, uninvolved and often uninformed electorate.

7) E-democracy, which comprises the use of electronic communications technologies, such as the Internet, in enhancing democratic processes within a democratic republic or representative democracy. E-democracy aims for broader and more active citizen participation enabled by the internet, mobile communications, and other technologies in today's democracy, as well as through more participatory or direct forms of citizen involvement in addressing public challenges. E-democracy is a relatively new concept, which has surfaced out of the popularity of the Internet and the need to reinvigorate interest in the democratic process. Access is the key to creating interest in the democratic process. Citizens are more willing to use web sites to support their candidates and their campaign drives.

😎 Democratic dictatorship is also known as democratur The premise of the "People's democratic dictatorship " is that the state represent and act on behalf of the people, but possess and may use dictorial powers against reactionary forces. Implicit in the concept of the people's democratic dictatorship is the notion that dictatorial means are a necessary evil, and that without a dictatorship, the government may collapse and create a situation which is worse than the dictatorship.

9) Multiparty democracy is a two-party system requires voters to align themselves in large blocs, sometimes so large that they cannot agree on any overarching principles. A multi-party system is a system in which multiple political parties have the capacity to gain control of government separately or in coalition. The effective number of parties in a multi-party system is normally larger than two but lower than ten.

10) Parliamentary democracy is a democratic system of government where the executive branch of a parliamentary government is typically a cabinet, and headed by a prime minister who is considered the head of government.

11) Social democracy is a political philosophy that calls upon government to be for the people. In contrast to Socialists, modern Social Democrats do not believe in nationalizing industry

12) Totalitarian democracy is a system of government in which lawfully elected representatives maintain the integrity of a nation state whose citizens, while granted the right to vote, have little or no participation in the decision-making process of the government.

Citizens of the new world don't take things for granted. Think before you vote!
