Delgado For SPSA

Speech given August 9, 2008 at 12:30 AM in front of Polokwane City Hall:

I&I, Esteban Delgado, stand before my breddas and sistas and Socialist Party of eSouth Africa members to announce my official candidacy for party leader of the SPSA.

Our party and our nation needs strength but currently they value nothing. Since its beginning, the SPSA has foreseen only political failure on the local and national level. We have no Congressmen for the second month in a row. Our party leader was not even a third tier candidate. The party is inactive, had no goal, and no direction.

We can be that direction. We can set goals. With this, we have a bright future as a rising party in South Africa. Most importantly however, we can raise a front to change South Africa for the better.

Today, we are the public partners of Pax Africana Cooperative, the cooperative that manages Bong Belly, the newest and cheapest quality two food company in South Africa.

To a bright future!

I say vote Delgado. It takes serious leaders in every party to make a country work and according to me Delgado is the most serious candidate of SPSA. Good luck tomorrow.

Hmm... somehow a lot of new people randomly joined the party, and a lot of inactive people within the party have suddenly become active after not working for 5 days to vote for the opposition, who has not said or done anything since being leader.
