Dear eUS congresspeople:
As a blacklisted member of the December 6th revolution I have a short statement.
On December 6th I participated in an overthrow of the eUS dictator by fighting to topple him. By doing so I acknowledge that I broke the law. I did this willfully and with the knowledge that I would most likely be subject to blacklisting procedures.
I felt at the time that what I was doing was the right thing to do as I saw that Gnilraps being elected as CP on a "no dictator" platform was a mandate from the general populace. In hindsight, this may or may not have been the case. I realize that these actions caused a rift in our community and for that I am sorry.
As a proposal to unblacklist indivudials is now underway anyone else that agrees with these statements or wishes to clarify their feelings about the matter may comment below.

What platform is Gnil on now? I think it is absurd that a forum bans players for utilizing a game function that the Admins installed. And said forum dallied the idea of banning fluffer from itself, for no other reason than to greatly improve said forum (eNPR last night, I click to it, somewhere in the middle to catch the dismissal of a logical improvement, left soon after, even I cannot take that much trite)
No player was banned from the forum. The blacklisted members simply can't post in the congressional subboard. They can still post in general erep, the party boards, erep sandbox, all non-erep gaming and real life discussion boards, as well as the forum discussion boards like anyone else can.
come on semantics, the mods do as they please with posts, change them at will.
Better to be outright banned than submitted to general humiliation for caring to play eRepublik.
And where do I get a list of charges against me and the process I am to follow (as I mock you) to resolve your mistakenly held right to deny me the right to click buttons the Admins give me?
I like the fine distinctions, that have to be made up case by case. The person that was willing to pay for a coup at a certain time, is innocent of any wrong doing (like the covering up of a congressional seat purchase) what so ever, but I am to take all the convenient blame. Least we expose the hypocritical nature of your blessed forum.

If a player is invested enough in forum and/or game, do they have a different set of rules and penalties, than me?

I do not dwell on the eUSA forums, I find they are a silly place, well a stupid place to be more accurate. I've just been around a while and have an excellent track record.
I'm doing something right, fluffer is angry at me....
Triple H (wanna be) birds of the same feather flock together... I would rather support eRepublik than those whose track record is agreeable to those that do not support eRepublik

Because surely a one-house off-site Parliament with no checks and balances, that makes law with no justice system in place, and operates in private, cannot be considered foundationally democratic in this day and age? the existence of a legislative and executive with clearly defined powers is basically the definition of a montesquieu-esque check and balance
also congress mostly operates publicly, and everything that can is eventually made public, so there's that.
also yeah there's no justice system, because it's be unenforcable and impossible. a justice system isn't needed when the environment doesn't call for it.

Dec 6 to May is an awfully long time to blacklist people in a game. Thats over 5 months, or 5 presidential elections which spans 20 years in real life lolwut
