Dear PiginZen Administration

THANK YOU! It was really great working with you guys. Sorry I had to bail out early for Congress (blame HR).

So, it sucks that so much of the term was dominated by EDEN drama, but that's the hand we were dealt. Most of you guys stayed focused on the jobs you were given and I believe we are leaving the White House, and the country, better than we found it. Although we weren't really grabbing headlines with all of the work we did, we made a lot of great progress in a lot of areas. As the campaigning comes to a close, I hope we can take a more objective look at what has been going on this last month.

First things first, I want to thank PiZ for giving me the opportunity to work in his Cabinet and trusting me to run my office and manage my staff as I saw fit. Certain aspects of this position made me want to ragequit so hard, but I am satisfied with what my office accomplished.

What made me support PigInZen since he first announced his intention to run for President was his preference for governing over politicking. His proposals for the country addressed specific issues we have been dealing with and he had a vision for how it could all work together to produce a very positive and sustainable result. Unfortunately, foreign issues ended up consuming the majority of his time and he was forced into more political situations with our alliance, our Congress, our JCS and his own Cabinet. It burned him out. He's not THAT guy, but we shouldn't overlook what he was able to put into place before eRepublik ripped him limb from limb. I think this will be beneficial to our next President-

1. Huge Cabinet - Not everyone was a fan of the Tier system, myself included. However, I think I get why he did it. There were about 70 people on the staff and a number of additional people granted #whitehouse access because they're important to America. That channel was basically a Who's Who of eUS leadership. If you wanted information spread through active people quickly, you'd drop it in #whitehouse. Gathering this large cross section of people in this capacity facilitated conversations that have led to a noticeable increase in both the activity and involvement by the general public. Look at the number of articles written about any given topic these days. There are more editorials on international affairs, more political cartoons and substantive satire, more criticisms, more campaigning and more analysis. Even the fighting among parties is starting to be about genuine issues. Increased involvement isn't just about more media, it's about meaningful conversations taking place and sharing information, and I believe a lot of that is a result of a large 'Tier 3.' While communication among the 'higher tiers' could use a lot of improvement, I believe the intent of this design is smart.

To the next Administration - even if you choose to have a smaller staff, please continue to provide a velvet rope club.

2. Supporting Leadership - Department leaders were only limited by their own ambition. The expanded Chief of Staff office was intended to provide additional support staff to the departments that chose to utilize them, and that we did. There were three departments where people really took things by the balls- Media, Interior and Defense. Rather than dictating and micromanaging, PigInZen just provided them with the resources to be successful and they really ran with it.

Media cranked out articles all month and helped keep the conversation moving. They got all of the other departments working on their public image and communication which has changed the way some of them work.

Interior implemented the collective idea and all of their sub-departments are working together smoothly and more citizens are being serviced more quickly as a result. The Interior Department is also expanding to cover more off-site recruiting and job hubs.

The Department of Defense was revived and Angelini was appointed by unanimous decision. She worked extremely hard to help bridge the gap between the executive branch and JCS, even without the access she really needed. She also worked wonders along with DrTango in resolving the Militia Office issues. Just having a Department of Defense made the militia solution possible and without this department, we are right back where we started, trying to figure out where Militias can best be supported and represented.

To the next Administration - I would seriously consider keeping these specific areas fully intact. All 3 are self-motivated and beginning to see great results. Please keep the momentum going.

Despite all the drama and the headaches, this term has been productive. I believe we have facilitated and inspired positive changes that will last into the future. I think now we move forward more motivated, more informed and more united than we were before (even as we debate important issues). We may not know what will happen with our allies, but we know Americans will continue to work together to make the eUS stronger. I'm optimistic.

Thanks for a great month and good luck to the next Administration!
