Dear People of Canada

Day 950, 17:07 Published in Canada Canada by Daniel Hawkins

Dear Canada,

I've come back after months of being away to find myself in complete chaos. A poltical leader under fire, every article is an argument, and everybody chosing sides and flaming until someones head blows up.

It's not just Canada. From a couple articles I've read in the USA, it seems like people are just burnt out. I've seen many faces, old and new, just leaving because they're upset at this thing or that thing. Some people don't understand everything doesn't go your way. And I have one word for you all:

Chill.

Honestly, I don't give a crap whether 1ronman is guilty or innocent. If you really want to, go into a case, find a verdict and it's over in a day. This does not need to be dragged out all over a media, providing new citizens with a nice flame war to join when they first come in. I don't care whether Dade Pedwyn or whatever his name is did this or that, and he didn't tell us about the Ireland war or whatever. What happened to the teamwork that was going on in Canada and in EDEN when I was around awhile ago? Where has that gone?

I don't see why the government we have now can't cooperate. It really isn't that hard to keep little arguments private, settle on a solution, and move on from there. We don't need it public. When I was in congress, we could work together to send out plans, details, orders, whatever we neede😛 and when needed, we sometimes had a small dispute or two, all in a good manner, but of course, no need to go public with our problems.

What happened?

I dream of a future Canada with a united population, an united government, and a country on the rise. It may seem impossible from today's viewpoint, but trust me: it's possible.

Let's work together, Canada. It's for the good of us.

If I missed a fact or two, forgive me, it's my third day back in six months. [sarcasm]Please send me hate mail and write articles flaming me because I missed a fact, aswell. [/sarcasm]

edit: perfect example. I go on #ecan on IRC right after to post this article, and I go right into a argument over political parties. Exactly what I needed.
