FORUM

Many Japanese still have not registered on our official forum or don't make use of it. I encourage you all to do counterwise.

I myself was against bothering with any off-site eRepublik stuff for many months, but I eventually gave in, and I don't for a moment regret it. Since I started actively reading and participating on the eJapan forum, I've seen what it can do (has been doing) for my Party, for Congress, and for Japan in general. The forum helps bring the community together all the better and does much to improve communication at all levels.

If you want to do more than just read a few articles everyday and click work plus train, give the forum a chance. Get involved.

CONGRESS

Congratulations to all who've been voted in. I have high hopes for March. Two short matters to address:

A) Please show your patriotism and support for Japan by donating the 5 GOLD you've gotten to the treasury.

😎 Just to stress the point, join the forum if you haven't already, and sign up as Congressman to join our discussions on Japan government. Look forward to seeing you there.

MILITARY

We're still slowly working toward developing a better military, but our biggest obstacle remains the same -- we need more people to sign up. Now that the elections are over, maybe we have more people available, or perhaps some of our newer citizens are interested.

If you are interested in helping defend Japan should it ever come under attack, especially if you are unable to move (due to a Congress seat or other), apply for the Defense Forces. If you are interested in travelling abroad to fight for our allies, especially if you have high Strength/rank, apply for the Elite Forces.

PRESIDENT

Might as well make it official: I am running for President March 5th. I feel that I have some great ideas to better Japan, but whether I win or lose, it looks like Japan will change for the better.

Of course I have more to say on this in the upcoming days, but first let's enjoy a few days break now that the Congressional elections are done. Ah.

One last thing -- Thursday appears to be the most active night in Japan, so if you find yourself with nothing else to do tonight, join us on the shoutbox or in IRC. Strange discussions going on.

Thanks for reading and more.
