Hello, my name is Devon Donaldson and I am running for the state of Kentucky this March. If elected, you can expect me to be very active.

Taxes: I support the current tax system we have with low import taxes, I embrace the Stuff > Gold argument.



Fortress strategy: I fully support the fortress strategy, and for this reason I live in the region of Karnataka, citizens of Virginia, bear with me the fortress strategy is truly whats best for our country, we would not have survived the invasion of North America if we didn't have the strong fortress of Florida, PEACE didn't even have enough GOLD to attack the region, I believe in the fortress strategy because I believe in America.



Citizenship Requests: If I am elected to the congress, I promise to never approve a phoenix citizenship, I will always make sure I identify links before I click them.



Military vs Militias: I think we have a great military, but militias are good too, I have served in the eagles before so I know they are very effective, militias are better for two-clickers and the military is a better choice for active people of course, but I think having a good system of militias and a good military is key in maximizing the damage output of a country, making sure they fight where they are needed, and fight with weapons.



Hospitals: The last few days I have seen a ton of articles and ads about whether or not we should abandon the fortress strategy in favor of building a bunch of lower Q hospitals in every state; so I thought I would give my opinion about some of the aspects of what abandoning the fortress strategy would do to our country:

First of all, if we did do this even if someone like Max Mcfarland did pay for all the hospitals, it would cost money, money that could have been used for something else keeping that in mind, lets say that building all those hospitals would take 1000 GOLD to build. That is 1000 GOLD that could have built a great deal of houses or 1000 GOLD that could have gone into an important battle.

Next, let us consider how painful it would make retreating battles if someone like the eUK attacks to try to block our initiative; every time we retreat, another hospital would be destroyed, and it doesn't end there; say our ally, Canada, wants to region swap with us for whatever reason, that would also destroy hospitals. Again, we find ourselves getting weaker, not stronger, for something that cost us a great deal of GOLD.

Now let us look at the past when we subscribed to the idea of building a bunch of lower Q hospitals; there isn't much proof that it even helped our player retention at all People in favor of building all these lower Q hospitals argue that during the invasion of North America, we had better player retention because of all the hospitals but I submit that it was because of the massive invasion of the eUS that kept the newbs interest.
