Day 3: Brazilkrieg!

Day 758, 01:44 Published in Australia Australia by Garven Dreis

Hello All,

Because there are currently no articles that regularly inform the populace about our war and it's effects globally, hopefully I can fill this gap.

In the eAustralian Front

Despite providing extreme resistance and laying down an impressive amount of damage, eAustralia was unable to hold the region of Western Australia, and this region was conquered in the early hours of the morning (AEST + AEDST). Brazil was able to secure this region due to a large tanking effort late in the battle, which brought the battle down to -70k, which is a testament to the eAustralian defenders, especially considering eBrazil is several times larger than eAustralia.

Controversially, eIndonesian tanks with eBrazillian citizenship were present at the battle and were reported to have added -160,000 damage to the wall, which definitely tipped the battle's favour to the eBrazillians. Many eAustralians are calling this a breach of the Non-Aggression Pact eAustralia has with eIndonesia. It is unlikely the eIndonesians will pay any compensation.

Northern Territory Attacked!

After Western Australia was occupied by eBrazil, they immediately attacked eAustralia's last high-diamond region of Northern Territory. Currently, no major tanking effort has been made, although the battle still has a few hours remaining, eUS Paratroopers have been seen fighting in the region, so thanks goes out to our allies for their assistance in this fight. The US currently have provided the bulk of the damage in Northern Territory, which may prove to tip the battle in favour to the eAustralians.

Because of the lack of tanking, It is theorized that eBrazil may attempt to attack the region of South Australia before the close of the Northern Territory battle. While South Australia does not have any flashy resources, it does contain a Q5 hospital, and access to all other eAustralian States.

Mediterranean Theatre

After EDEN's blocking trump was blown by eRomania yesterday, eGreece attacked the Aegean Coast of Turkey, which has proved to be futile, as it was secured by Phoenix forces. However, before Aegean battle ended, eGreece attacked the Mediterranean Coast of Turkey in what I call a perpetual blocking maneuver. As long as eGreece keeps rotating the attacks and is not blocked, eGreece could keep Turkey pinned down ad infinitum.

Western European Theatre

In Western Europe, the eUK has completely occupied the rebel country of eBelgium with the assistance of the United Netherlands. This is mostly a symbolic victory for Phoenix forces, as Belgium was nothing more than a EDEN proxy.

eGermany has taken several losses early yesterday as ePoland continues to rampage across it's regions, taking 3 of it's border regions. Other EDEN nations have also declared war on eGermany, which is currently receiving little aid from other Phoenix forces, as they are spread thin fighting separate battles across the eWorld
