Day 1058 - EDEN Marches Forward, RWs Galore

Day 1,059, 16:14 Published in USA United Kingdom by HobbitTon

Thank you Athanaric!

Greetings! I cordially apologize for the lack of sufficient media articles from me in a very long time. I have been caught up in so much American Defense and Trade Party business that I have plagued my subscribers with unwanted news articles. Today, I will try my hairy hobbit hand at another military article by giving you the play by play of the recent international events. Hopefully I don't get pwned too much by the Stars and Stripes Journal. By the way, thank you for 300 subscriptions!

Day 1058 brought much warfare throughout the mighty New World. With the new Mutual Protection Pact rules in place and fueled by the highly, highly addictive military module, I think it is safe to say that we have all been involved in some organized chaos some way or another. As you can see, there weren't many full scale attacks on other regions. On the other hand, I was surprised to see all the resistance wars popping up like troll acne through out the New World.

Lulz in the United States

Let me begin with the military campaigns back home in the States. All the battles fought in the United States were courtesy of two prominent European superpower occupations, but none of them were funded by the United States government but by proud Kiwian Aflagrem.. The state of Connecticut was under siege form the United States Resistance Forces. The region, pretty much resourceless, was occupied by Ireland prior to the attack. While the attackers fought valiantly, they only won two segments of the battle, so Ireland secured Connecticut for another day.

Continuing on, Illinois was also a hot spot for conflict within the United States. The oil rich region was held by Poland for some time now, and I was guess someone thought it would be time to get it back. Unfortunately, the United States only have sixteen allies. They were gravely outnumbered with the Polish having twenty-three allies. With that being said, the United States rallied to win three segments of that battle, but it was not enough to tear down Polish forces.

With the third and final battle over in the States, Poland also had occupation of South Dakota which is full of the most profitable raw material in the New World. This was a nice resistance war in my opinion because it tested Poland's ability to react to multiple wars. Poland did not disappoint because they hold out rebelling forces even though they did scrap up five segments of the battle.

All of the battles above were a lulz campaign, but hey, at least these battles invigorated the economy.

Quarrel in Indian Sub-continent

Yesterday brought more drama between the Indians and the United States forces. The two former friendly countries have not been seeing eye to eye lately, and this just battle just escalated it to a whole new level. A few days prior, the United States attacked the West Bengal region of India and successfully breached it. In reaction, the Indians replied with a resistance war in that region. The resourceless region was easily defending by the United States troops with India not winning any of the segments.

The problems continued for India as they pushed for the region of Jammu and Kashmir. The land of Dio, Pakistan, had control of that resourceless region, and it was strategical stopping point of any forward progression from other countries. Fortunately, Dio really blessed the Pakistanis since they bashed the Indians with ease. With this military stop, it raised morale for Pakistanis.

Finally, India gained some momentum though on Andrah Phrash, another resourceless region occupied by Pakistan. It wasn't much of a battle of international forces, but more of a domestic slugfest. The Indian resistance force stayed on the offense for the entire fight though, holding the Pakistanis off winless for the entire battle.

At the end of the day, India looks pretty beaten up though. Looking at their map today, most of what should be India is under Pakistani control. There is no doubt that India has been declining in power for some time now, but things kicked off since the USA-India debauchery. Most of the New World has even lost respect for India since they have no MPPs at all. This is quite disappointing.

EDEN On the Offense

Before the attack, Greece and Turkey had already have a lot of tension built up in their bowels. For the last eight days, Greece has been pushing towards Turkey, eating away at their defenses. Their attack on Day 1058 was on Eastern Anatolia. Turkey saw this coming from their previous battles and was prepared to make a nice stop, only letting Greece win two battle segments. I speculate the Turkey is preparing to counter-attack.

Romania, another EDEN country, marched on towards the North Caucus region, which is high in oil, against Russian forces. For most of the battle, Russia didn't stand a chance due to the constant Romanian troop surge. International troops were also deployed for this battle, but the majority of the fighters were on the Romanian side. Romania won by a land slide, holding back Russia to winning one battle segment.

With a second attack on Russian territory, Romania did a tactical dual-split through the forces. Central Black Earth had also been contested on Day 1050. While Russia did have six more allies at the time, it didn't seem like they considered Russia to be such a high priority as they same outcome happened. Romania pulled out on top again.

With the recent events in Europe, EDEN has seemed to gain more momentum on the declining PHOENIX. Actually, Russia has also been decreasing in size and strength in these last couple of weeks. If EDEN keeps staying on the offense, more things will click unless someone tries to legitimately stop them.

More Debauchery in Russia

This time, the conflict has been between Russia and Poland. Northern Russia had been rushed by Russia trying to get the upperhand in some of the northern areas, but it just didn't show. The Polish saw it coming as they did have a long history of fights, and they neutralized the threat with no problems, only letting Russia win two battle segments.

Western Siberia is rich in three dormant raw materials, and so it is often a contested region. Poland saw this as an opportunity and attacked the region head on, but Russia knew how much of a priority the region was and was able to negate the attempt just in time. As a result, the Poles were stopped in their tracks.

The Russian resistance forces tried to take back Far Eastern Russia, but they were just crushed by the US occupation in the titanium and stone rich region. If the campaign was not stopped, Russia would have control to a pivotal region in terms of location. It was a very nice win for the US troops.

With the final region in my analysis is the Xinjiang. It had been controlled by Poland, but the Chinese thought it would be a good opportunity to be start a Training War to help their soldiers gain experience. It actually went well, trying to make that battle last as long as possible.

In Conclusion

The New World was ablaze with fights with most of them being either a resistance war or training war. EDEN had a strong gain yesterday. We will see how things turn out. I hoped you liked it!
