David Wayne Smith Esq. For Congress

Day 575, 21:12 Published in Canada USA by David Wayne Smith Esq

Well Folks its Election time yet again and with election time comes 150 people telling you that they are running for congress...well I am no different. I have returned home to Nova Scotia and I am officially announcing that I am running for a congressional seat.

You may ask yourselves "why should I vote for this guy? I mean I’ve seen him around but really what could he do that Vincent Valentine or Emilio Sanchez or the great Tom Jane do? Well I will tell you that I plan on building on what all of those great Congressmen/Candidates have done or planned to do.

I would like to upgrade our current hospital to a Q5 hospital, Even if it means funding the project with my Wood Company (which is also based in Nova Scotia) called "I’ve got wood Lumber corp.” I do not mind putting my personal finances into such a great province (and organizations such as SCOTIA who provided much of the funding for previous upgrades to this Province)

I would push for a greater weapons reserve for the CAF. In times of uncertainty we need to ensure that if we need to defend ourselves we are fully equipped to do so. It seems only logical to have our Service men and women fully equipped.

I would also push for aid for companies in this province. Some company owners are finding it difficult to stay afloat in such a tough market. I am not advocating complete government control and I am not advocating donations of hundreds of gold but more along the lines of hundreds of dollars if your company meets the requirements. (This would be determined by an open forum of Business owners). This could potentially lead to more Nova Scotians employed by locally owned and operated companies.

Continued fiscal responsibility would be a major focus point and should be a major focus point for any congressional candidate. A few poor decisions can completely destroy the economic status we have worked so hard to achieve. I would push for continued focus on working on building/maintaining our status and more importantly how Nova Scotia can contribute to that.

I am asking that you seriously consider electing me to my first term in congress. Emilio, Vincent and Tom are all stand out Candidates. We as a province are lucky to have so many Qualified representatives working hard for you, All I am asking is you let me join that List.
