Dangan Bushi Express Approaches a New Station

Day 540, 18:52 Published in Japan Japan by Tadahito Kato

(For those who do not know, the Dangan Bushi Express is the mascot of the Liberal Party)

If you are looking for a party to join, the Liberal Party will be a great choice because of our distinction from other mainstream, center-right parties. We are the largest center-left party in eJapan, but sadly we are just a minor party. For our more information about the Liberal Party, check out our website at liberaljapan.weebly.com.

Tomorrow the Liberal Party of Japan will be having its third Party President election since its creation. This is not only a milestone for me as the founder of the party, but also a significant event for every party members. They will be deciding the fate of the party with their votes.

Remember, our "ancestor's party," or The Bushido Party, was a center-left party, too. Some critics may claim that we are disrespecting our predecessors, but the fact is that the former United Bushi was not a legitimate successor of The Bushido Party at all. Hitoshi changed the name, orientation, and even ideology of the party without the members' consent.

The Liberals recognize and understand fully our past. We were made up of members of the former Bushido and other center-left politicians who joined later. Although we are no longer The Bushido Party, it will always be part of us and our history. We will never try to deny this part of our past. And as we move forward, we will always remember how great our past was before it was deteriorated.

Now, as we approach a new stage in the development of the party, we must unite under one cause to stand strong. To boost activity, members should use the forums more and discuss with other members. We had over ten congressional candidates last month, but we can do better. Let us try to get all the candidates elected this month!

On another note, the new eJapanese homepage has been set up. It is located at http://nipponblog.net and everyone should go check it out. I will be registering for a username on the new forum at http://nipponblog.net/forum/index.php shortly and you should, too! Thank you for reading and have a great day!
