But for the enjoyment of those who don't have time to catch up on International news, im going to give you a brief outline of what is going on in the world of Erepublik.


In the course of 2 days a lot of excitement has been happening in the global political scheme, two new alliances have formed as the 4 before combined to fight common foes. Beginning with a merger between the NA and PANAM along with break away MA state Spain, the Atlantis Alliance was created.


In response to this new larger threat the MA and FIST held emergancy talks only last night, where the guidelines for their own merger were hammered out. This culminated in their declaration of an alliance today, which was to be called the Peace Community. These new alliances have caused some countries like Canada and Ireland to be completely shafted being ignored by both alliance charters.

In the background of this political warring, a real war has started that mirrors it, the goon filled Mexico has invaded Spain and Portugal, citing response from Spain and it's many allies, 7 to be exact. After the first day Mexico was pushed back easily, but this at the moment seems like it was their plan.

After a second bitter day of fighting it seems as if the goons are coming out on top, with help coming in from FIST and MA country under their new coalition. The Spainish force numbering at the start 200 has been completely massacred as Mexico is winning on all fronts, but just barely it must be noted. It seems as if Atlantis and Peace Community are using this war to fight each other indiresctly.

I've been in many wars and i know that with this setback Spain has two options to pull back and defend tomorrow and inflict damage on Mexico then, or continue with the pressure hoping to keep its forces low, then they can attack quickly and suddenly in the last minute and hope to secure victory that way.
