To CVP (and eUSA):

A lot has changed in the eUSA in the past few months. A part of these changes, were the changes that were taking place in the CVP. The CVP changed its name (from eRepublicans for Change to the Conservative Party), achieved more power in congress, gained more active members from the boomers, and made more active strides, along with the eUSA, to bring democracy to eRepublik. I would like to thank Big Brother, Carbon, Scrabman, Joeph Cole, Google, and many others for giving us the tools necessary to ensure the democracy that makes us all Americans. The forums, IRC, applications, and spreadsheets are all there to help us in our United goal for democracy, despite which one we favor best.

Today I formally announce my plan to run for CVP President. I do not run to undermine Desertfalcon. In fact, he has done a great job leading and guiding this party, but "behind the scenes," so to speak. Even the Vice President of the eUSA, who was an active and significant member to the CVP, left the party because of the many loyalties to a hidden party president.
Desertfalcon will always have the experience and vigor of a veteran, but the time has come to bring "Reagan" like change to the CVP.

There are many ideas I have for the CVP. I will update this article, soon, to include a spreadsheet/document with all the exact plans I have. Some of my ideas include a Primaries/Caucuses system, a continuance of the party convention (with better control), and more communication with other parties (not necessarily alliances). If elected, mostly everything else will remain the same, including the council system and the party name. By adding a few additions to the current process, the CVP can come even closer to the membership amounts of pre-V1 days.

We must work together and take a true stand for our democracy, but while holding on to our true Conservative goals. Reagan was a man dedicated to helping right our broken and abandoned nation. If elected I will "bring" Reagan to you. I won't bring up the inexperience issue, for political purposes, and remind you of my opponents age and gray hairs, though 😉 . I will use votes, polls, etc. to find out the general consensus of the CVP so that I can make the decision that best fits all the members. As I have said in all my other previous contests for office, I will work for you, eAmerica.

It is time that Reagan Conservatism return to the CVP, vote Mattoze5!
