Current situation & what the hell with money?

Hi,
Like most of you I've been aware on the situation only lately (because i'm not really as active as I should). Let(s take it as it is, the harm has been done. I don't believe the PTO threat was that high but nevertheless I respect such decision even if I would not have taken it so soon as I consider it our joker card against PTOs.
Let's hope a 3 to 6 months wipe cumulated with bnak managers will be enough to make PTOers understan😛
eBE will always remain a community region.
Community; sadly some decisions have been taken without proper informartion toward the community. Sometimes urge is needed but I don't feel it was needed this time.
Nevertheless it's a decision and we'll play with it. I know for sure that the current government means only well. And trust me, it's really hard to manage an eCountry. Maybe especially a small one like eBelgium.
But, we agree on the fact we're going to be wiped for few times so: What the hell is going on?
Right now there is a RW in Brussels. I would say "ok it's an RW", sometimes you can't block it. But the 1st BNA commander, Critically, has put a CO on it?!
Are you serious? We are losing this battle and we pay soldiers to deal damages?
Either we play low profile and accept the wipe and we don't advertise fighting ePL, either we recover our regions!
Why are you putting CO on an RW fight againt ePL?
If you really want to spend money from the gov, just tell me and i offer myself 200k cc right now. We didn't save money and ensure a saving for wasting it like it is right now. I kind of agreed with NLSP funny things because ... Well I didn't care it was not a lot of money. But this time, knowing BNA's budget, I can't agree on that.
So, stop wasting money.

l'argent c'est le nerf de la guerre. Si vous voulez être "wiped", je vous pas pourquoi vous dépensez de l'argent. Autant le garder pour plus tard. Les autres pays n'offre pas tous les avantages que vous offrez:

JdlF, let me comment.
1st. the CO is only for Belgian citizens, so it's just redistribution of the taxes to the active citizens.
2nd. the CO is a good way to "pay" for the travel expenses of BNA soldiers.
3rd. you receive TP damage for fighting there so why not?
4th. even though I proposed a new budget (that is still not voted), I haven't used half of my budget in 1 month, even though I could ask it every month, so there is enough budget for it + Congress voted 500k budget I could use to put CO. I received 100k for it now and I'll probably get another 300-400k when the real RW's start.
5th enjoy fighting with the CO 😉
1: 30 BEF / mil (in my div), it costs me more to do that 1 Mi than the 30BEF I get from it. So it's not a good calculation.
2: We don't travel to fight in ePL. More, why travel for a lost fight?
3: TP medals don't cover the waste of money (1 tp = 5 golds = +-1200 cc; fo example i should make more than 10 Mi damages). Tp medals is the flase joke that every one says "ho we'll get tp medals". Please. It has been proven to be ineffective.
4: Your budget is damn too high. BrunoCNd managed with 100k/month.
5: I don't even want to fight so i'm penalized?
You're telling me, I am penalized because I don't want to fight in a useless fight! It's silly.
1: you're telling that's a waste of money but you say that 30BEF/mil is too low for you ? ...
2: read above + 20 BEF is enough to travel.
3: indeed, but that's why there are CO's on every battle of eBe, so you can profit from it over and over 🙂

5. You are an army of nonsense. Fighting is your aim, not winning. And I'd like more winnings out there. Sitting ducks are right to sit when there are only nonsense battles. BNa is here to protect eBE and work accordingly to COT. Here you don't protect (or fail to) and don't act accordingly to COT.

JdLF, belgium has lots of money in the treasury. Why keep it?
CO is a fair way to redistribute it, since it reaches all belgian citizens, something that nothing else can do.

Critically was answering you point by point. His replly about the BNA had nothing to do with the CO.
BNA is handling CO. So it's basically the same idea. So yes CO is for army pruposes. Or at least should be.
The CO is open for all eBe citizens, how could it be for army purposes then ? 😛

Well, eeehm wait a minute, JdlF has a point. There is no advantage for the state to CO this RW, right? We're going to lose it and according to recent events we even want to lose. So why do you support? You're by the same move punishing those who (smartly) don't commit to a lost fight.
We should in place put CO on allies battles!

And, they could VOTE NO. OR, to start NE against UK, or to do other things to block us, from NE ON POLAND!

I've explained to MQ how to handle it more properly.
You did a great job. Government did a bad one (even if the decision might be the right one, the way was wrong).
And i'm mainly complaining about the gold utilisation 😉.
I have to agree with the majority here. I agree on CO's for proper fights, not for a failed RW.
We had to move to eDE to be able to complete DO's...
Now we need to move to ePL to compete in this RW: 20CC, and move back to eDE to do DO's in comming days: 20 CC
I'm a GoW with 20K str and I can do just above 2 mil damage in a single war, so I earn a few CC after waisting 40 cc on Plato to travel back and forth
It could be done in a clever way:
1) Don't pay CO to PTOers: ask the real citizens to move to a gov MU. You can manage who are PTOers and who not in a MU. Just pay CO to soldiers of that MU
2) Use CO for eBelgium people in wars that deserves it. For example, in CoT priorities instead of a meaningful RW
3) Make a list of PTOers and inform it ingame
4) Inform with time to the community when, where and why there will be a CO, so 2-clickers can be advised of it.
I have a few more ideas 😉
