Current Political Situation in eJapan

Day 447, 15:22 Published in Japan Japan by Tadahito Kato

Like many others have mentioned, the eJapanese political structure is undergoing several changes. Here is the list of parties and what may happen after the Party Presidential elections coming up in five days:

National Alliance Party
With almost eighty members and 50% of the congressional seats, the NAP comfortably stands as the largest and strongest party in eJapan. Akki is expected to continue his post as both Country President and Party President and there will not be any major changes to the party. Although the increasing activity in other parties may attract some NAP members, its status as the leading party will not be challenged.

Japanese Labour Party
Out of the five major parties, the JLP has always been the least stable one. It was taken over by the eIranian Mafia back in December. When the Mafia left to create the Kodoha Party, the JLP fell under control of GLaDOS, who pledged to normalize it. Under his leadership, the party regained its size and even ex-President Yamato Suzuki joined. However, GLaDOS and Suzuki both left the party recently, causing a minor turmoil. Ice_Freeze will be taking over the party and hopefully giving it a clear direction once elected.

United Bushi of Nihon
The UBN elections were expected to be the most exciting of all before contender Hitoshi decided to suddenly resign from the party. The central issue of the elections was centered around the creation of a new party, the Liberal Party of Japan. Obviously, after Hitoshi's departure, Tadahito Kato is left as the only participant and will probably be elected. The new Liberal Party will likely be stronger than the wounded UBN, with its new and clear direction.

National Party of Japan
The NPJ has been pretty turbulent similar to the Japanese Labour Party. After its leader whac (formerly King Waseem) left, anarki took over the party. However, he was permanently banned soon after. It is likely for the NPJ to become the smallest party out of the five major parties, however possible future leader Osamu Nakamura may be able to slow down the declining process.

Tequila Fitness Club
The TFC is probably the second most famous party in eJapan because of its affiliation with the Tequila Fitness Group and ex-President Origineel.NL. The two candidates competing for leadership are anarchist Agertor and Origineel.NL. No matter who wins, the TFC will most likely to continue being an active party and gain more seats in the next congressional elections.
