Current eUSA Salaries Out of Hand!

The current eUSA salary of $60.30 is far too high for the business owner to turn a profit. When you consider the full cost of the product to make, you'll end up losing money is this is the salary you're paying your employees. Consider a level 7 weapon, you're looking at 4000 raw materials to build 20 weapons at a cost of $80. Now factor in the $60.30 and you're looking at $140.30 to build the 20 weapons. If you sell at the current market rate of $6.17, you'd make $123.40 and that's not factoring in the tax you'd need to pay on each weapon sold. So you can subtract out roughly 29cent per unit and you're now only making $117.60. This is not a sustainable business model.
It's time to either raise the price of goods or lower salaries.

i make a handful of pretty pennies with the housing market 😉 but i agree this is because we dont have enough workers and a good reason why we need lower taxes so we can have some foreign workers rotating in and keeping prices semi-lower... people are losing several dollars due to taxes and it hurts us americans :'(

I employ workers for house companies. That is profitable.
So long as we have so many financially illiterate players willing to produce and sell at a loss, Plato will never be able to fix the economy. All I can say is don't join the stupid club.

The eRep economy has not held to real life economic principles (or common sense) for some time now.
all the principles of real life economy hold true here. real life more workers than jobs. in this game. at least for me i could hire 600 workers. but i can only work 4 times maximum a day. so way more jobs than workers in game.
The "economy" module here is entirely imagined. You might be learning as much now.

Even if the the devs would leave the economic module alone it would eventually reach the point we got to due to low player base.
We are basically experiencing in game what America has experienced for 150 years - a shortage of workers.
As long as there will be more "jobs" than "demand for jobs" salaries will go NUTS.
Eventually some employers will "die out" and the balance will be achieved.
This is the market idea.
Of course if we could find a way to bring in more players, employers could avoid this and get their dream of lower wages too.
TL; DR : Bring more people to lower wages.

Of course we're forgeting that the eRep devs are the equivalent of republicans in the US Congres, their purpose is not to make the economy work but to line their pockets with money.
