CPM: Opportunity Fund and Money-market (Day 762)

Day 762, 18:00 Published in Canada Canada by Addy Lawrence
A little background on this report. This is a collection of tables I maintain to track opportunities on the money market and log the fund management activity of the CPM: Opportunity Fund. It is updated continuously as I day-trade on eRep. For the purposes of this article I use absolutes and no judgement on the top 10 currencies. I make a simple recommendation to "offer" or "pass" on the opportunity at the max value. My preferred recommendations are for paying customers. The patient approach is if you are willing to make your “International” offer at the international rate and wait for your offer to be digested, this could take days. The urgent approach is if you are willing to undercut the “International” rate by one basis point and move to the top of the list, bear in mind that this dilutes your return.

How do you invest in the CRM Opportunity Fund?

If you would like to invest in the CRM Opportunity Fund, please donate your gold to me, Addy Lawrence. I will confirm your deposit with an e-mail that includes an Investment Reference Number that you can find in the cash-out value table. When you want to cash out, PM me with your investment number and I'll liquidate your investment and donate it back. I charge 10% of your deposit up front and 10% of the wealth I generate from the fund. Sorry, no eRep contracts, you either trust me or you don't.

If you are a member of the CPF, I will waive the 10% up front fee!

CPM Opportunity Fund

Monthly returns:
-for the past seven days are 9.2%,
-for the last fourteen days are 4.9%;
-and for the last 28 days are 7.4%.

Here is how the CPM Opportunity Fund has been performing, note that this chart includes forecasted gains for open offers and includes restated gains that did not materialize in prior periods. Note that the return shown on the chart is for the life of the fund, not just the day, the long-term average return of the fund. Also note that I have changed the scale of the chart to really focus in on that flat line and show some detail, the fund has achieved some consistency now that it has been around for 30 days and this should be the long-term range.

Below is the list of cash out values for the CPM Opportunity Fund. Note that there was one cash out and two deposits since the last report.

I have enclosed a little stock chart. This is the document I refer to before deciding whether or not to post an offer. This chart shows what the high and low water-marks (tails of each bar) have been for each currency since I started this study 45 days, as well as the current price and the average price over the last seven days. If the bar is white, the price has increased, if the bar is black, the price has dropped. This way, you will know if you are buying in at a high point or low point.
