CP Presidential Race, March 2010

There are four candidates for CP tomorrow:

1. Remon777 - IA
2. Greyhunter - SAGP
3. RonelI - SAL
4. Varlosh - Soviet

Here how I see it:

4. Varlosh - Whether or not I beleive the communism thing works in the Real World, the game mechanics as currently defined dont really allow for a solcialistic agenda. This is a game. You need to play by the rules as given. Sorry. Not a viable candidate.

3. RonelI - Ronel has spent a lot of time getting involved with current eSA politics, the eSAAF, the forums, IRC, etc. She has spent an equal amount of time working on her platform, and tapping into the weariness and even outrage that many rank-and-file eSA'ers have right now. However, I think that she goes too far - I don't think that we are yet at the stage where "blow it all up and start over" is a winning strategy for eSA. I think this approach will cause turmoil with eSA, tumoil that the PTO'ers and channers can exploit for their own benefit and to the detriment of eSA. So, while agree with some of her platform points, I can't vote for Ronel either. But good luck.

2. GreyHunter - I watched GreyHunter work during the Battle of Gauteng. I have nothing but respect for him as Minister of Defence (despite his repeated need to shout "muppet" at the top of his lungs 😛 ). He is one of the heros of the current eSA. In many other months he would get my vote. But not this month. But good luck GreyHunter. You have my respect.

1. Remon777 - Remon was PP of the IA in January. I watched him organize. I watched him work within his party to start initiatives for the good of eSA. I watched him work to bring concensus to the party without the animosity and vitriol that characterizes much of eSA politics these days. I think he has the capability to use this same approach within eSA to form a new government that will work with him to implement his ideas. He will solicit ideas from all areas of eSA - every citizen will have a voice with Remon. He neither takes nor gives "bullshit" - I for one appreciate that. So will you.

I'm voting Remon tomorrow. You should too.
