CP Elections - Military and Foreign Affairs Manifesto

Hello citizens of Ireland,

I am running for election to be President of Ireland and here is my military and foreign affairs manifesto.

When you read 9/10 manifesto's they are basically people saying what they will do and again 9/10 they never happen, so with the agreement of a good friend Einberliner its time to basically change it up. I can sit here and say what ill do but I will post what she thinks, she knows me so well from my time here and she knows a lot about eIreland and the game and I know everyone here respects her.



A vote for Marcus is a vote for an eight-time super soldier and eight-time battle hero, but if you care about war and the military module you'll know that this doesn't prove anything in and of itself. Anyone who hangs around long enough or who manages to accumulate some expendable gold could claim similar, given all you need be able to do is click 'train' with at least semi-regularity and 'fight' a bit more than the next guy on a couple of occasions. Medals are wonderful, but they're not proof enough that someone is the person for the job, right?

Fortunately for you a vote to make Marcus your CP is also a vote for a former four-time Minister of Defense (and given he's only just completed his first year here that means he's spent a third of his time in-game leading the nation's armed forces) who was a driving force in the Irish Defence Forces and who was instrumental in helping set up the current Irish Army. He's also been a member of the Canadian militia The Crimson Order, a globally recognised band of war-hungry soldiers who have stood shoulder to shoulder with the Irish nation in many pivotal battles. And if you're thinking 'well, that's fine but what does he know about foreign affairs?' the answer is plenty. Marcus has been the Minister of Foreign Affairs for a term, and also the Vice President, a role which requires a lot of contact with the governments of other eNations. A regular on IRC and unafraid to venture out of the safety of the Irish channels, Marcus has friends and contacts around the world and keeps his finger on the pulse not just of the domestic news but the international news as well. Many's the international committee this man has sat on, many's the deal he's helped hash out, and much experience has been gleaned from all of it. What's more important is his knowledge is current, not based in experiences so far back in eHistory most of those reading this weren't born yet.

In short in voting for Marcus you get a genuine, true grit soldier. A strategist, a leader and a man with a real working knowledge of how the eWorld works.



Now some people will say what is my military and foreign affairs policy but nearly everyone active here knows me and knows where I stand.

I stand for Ireland and her allies, I will defend Ireland at all costs from threats internal or external and I will always be on the front line for Ireland and her allies.
