CP Debate; AMD vs Huey George

Day 5,644, 20:22 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gavin C. Mister

Election Season
Its time again for our country to elect it's CP and with a serious contender to incumbent president Huey George, I thought it would be interesting to hold a debate between the two candidates

Question 1

How is your style of governing best fit the people in the eUK?

Huey George (W):
My governing style prioritises transparency, communication, and fairness, while addressing the country's economic, social, military, and political challenges. At the end of the day, the success of my leadership should be measured by how well it serves the best interests of our citizens. I have led on long-term player support programs and an unprecedented amount of eUK training wars that provide excellent conditions for military and aircraft rank growth, but new player retention remains a challenge. However, my approach fosters collaboration, ensures adequate funding, and I am always open to suggestions and willing to work with citizens to turn ideas into action. With a community of creative minds, my governing style leaves us well-positioned to introduce new schemes that support player retention.

AMD (S): We in the spamicans have been at the forefront of activity in the last few months and have basically started a cultural revival, especially in the media module. We may as well be the marmite party, because whether you love or hate us, you cannot deny our existence. It has been a very active few months across all parties and I for one love to see it.

If elected then this would be my style of governing. Active decision making, involving the public in the conversation, and encouraging activity and engagement

Question 2

What is your opinion on our countries military power, land ownership, and current ranking?

Huey George (W): For any country engaged in multiple training wars, Country Power and Controlled Regions are difficult measures to use to form an opinion on (at least for me)

I could have a crack at Military Power though… I feel conditions for military and aircraft rank growth have been optimal for a while thanks to the hard work of too many citizens to mention.

I’ll seek forgiveness as this is a little bit of a random straw poll based on available data I had stored…I wish I had a bit more data and time to look into especially as #SpringBreak event had a significant impact recently on kill counts. However the data does somewhat support my feeling the UK is in a similar if not improved compared to the past in terms of Military Power however difficult to really say with certainty as multiple factors play into a true assessment.

AMD (S): Our country never has and is never going to be a major military power. I believe the current arrangement we have of neutrality and remaining outside of alliances despite multiple offers is the best way to continue. That is why I would pledge to maintain the number of training wars, and therefore medal run opportunities for our current citizens, as for land ownership I would pledge to keep the strongest possible partner in Scotland to give our production line in this country the best possible bonuses.

Question 3 for AMD

Do you think Huey has done a good job as CP?

AMD (S): I have never said Huey isn’t doing a good job. Huey has done fantastically. My only opposition at this point is the lack of a choice every month. There’s a fine line between stability and mundane, and things honestly have gotten a little boring around here. My attempt at CP last month only highlighted how exciting things used to be in this game, and how exciting they can become again.

Question 3 for Huey George

If you weren't Re-election tomorrow what would you do?

Huey George (W): I’m not sure to be honest… I think initially my focus would be ensuring a smooth transition of information, knowledge and data to the new Country President and remaining on hand for as long as required to answer any questions, provide guidance and advice…however also trying to limit my involvement to not overstep.

Closing Statements

Huey George (W): My continued vision for the United Kingdom and our citizens remains steadfast. The vision which has kept me in post for the length of time I have been.

> A friendly community where UK pilots or fighters can earn military rank, aircraft rank, medals/achievements in a wide range of local well-administered training wars.

> Our player base is supported by the effective use of our revenue while our books remain healthy and balanced.

> Effective government communication and administration supporting individual freedom and social equality within the UK. Friendly and cordial communication externally to keep the UK in its stable international position.

AMD (S):This is to certain people, not naming names, but unwarranted name calling and negativity is not the way to go about things. All we in the spamicans want to do is reinvigorate that community flame that used to be there. Many people just want to fight and win medals, and that’s a fine and acceptable way to play the game. This game has a political and social module, and many of those in the spamicans simply want to see this festure being engaged too.
This last three months has shown a renaissance for this!
