Dear reader,
After a weekend drinking a beer with some friends, going to the cinema with the wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend, babysitting on the 5-year old kid from the neighbours, or just watching all the episodes from 'House of Cards' and 'Orange is the new black' now you finally have netflix, you might wonder if CP Candidate NLSP still has a pulse. We from The Weekly Prophet, have the idea he is a bit silent and we have send one of our top journalists to his house to poke him untill he gives a sign of life. Therefore, we present you now: The Policy Thoughts of NLSP, a special edition from your beloved newspaper.

Keyser Söze, Editor for The Weekly Prophet.
Honouring our glorious founder, NLSP, since 2010.

The Policy Thoughts of NLSP, by (rk)
In the back of the NLSP Campaign Bus, we have received an exclusive 30 minute interview with NLSP-himself, while driving from a townhall-meeting in Roeselare to a speech in Charleroi. Being the open-minded and transparent eBelgian that he is, we were allowed to publish everything he said. Hoorah!

NLSP, in our last interview you have spoken about eBe, the wipe and the PTO. While you made clear that eBe might be without regions for a long time, does that mean that all eBe citizens will have nothing to do?
My government and I will show all eBelgians that you still can play this game, without having regions. The country will keep going forwards even without a region. As MoF I can see that the eBelgian tax income hasn't gone to 0 yet. This means that eBelgians still buy and sell stuff on our market. As a government, we will try to give all eBelgians an economic support, to counter effect the economic reality that we don't have any bonusses right now. But that is not the only thing we will try to achieve.

Oh no? What else has the NLSP-Government in mind?
We will try to stimulate everyone even more to become active. It doesn't matter if this happens in your MU, in the media or by coming to the forum (that you can find on www.erepbelgium.com ). All Party President's have for example received a PM from me, asking them to tell their partymembers that they can apply for a government job, one of the many fun ways to become active in our community.
Also our military will be stimulated to fight more and more coordinated, what is ideal to have a nice group feeling. We have the possibility to organize 'Civilian Strikes', where all eBelgian citizens receive supplies from fighting together. Our newer players will find in the media articles that explain them some of the many facets of this game. And I can keep talking, there are plenty of things we plan to do and that will show that eBelgium is alive even without a region.

NLSP, you are known as a big spender. You once said that you are only interested in projects if the budget is big enough. What will you do this month?
Well, eBelgium has still a big treasury and it is my understanding that it would better be put to the benefit from our citizens than just to stay in the national bank. All the current program's will, as long as I have anything to say about it, keep on running. This includes citizen packs, the BEF-Gold Exchange Program, BYS-program, Government-Loans, ...
Furthermore, I will brainstorm within my government and with citizens outside the government about new ideas for government programs. We could do once again a big one-time project or start a longer term program. The only requirement is that it helps our citizens and reward good behaviour. However, you don't have to be afraid that we become broke, there will always be a healthy amount of BEF and gold available to keep our citizen program's running.

What about Defence?
Fighting is an essential part of the game, so it stays important that we do have a good defense. The BNA has been making a lot of positive changes and they will have the full support and trust of the NLSP-government. However, this is not the only thing that can/should happen. We need to let our citizens know what they can do in the eWorld to benefit eBelgium and our alliance CoT [Circle of Trust, Ed.]. We don't want to force the eBelgians to fight in a certain place, but we want to give them the information what would be the most beneficial for eBelgium and its allies.

I always liked the many fun stuff that the Ministry of Fun did. What is the huge list that you have planned?
I have had the experience that a Ministry of Fun can be a huge success or a big failure. Often there are many plans, but nothing really is done. Also, the most fun in the game, comes often from other players. Therefore, there is currently not a big Ministry of Fun Project List planned. Luckily for you, there will be many things that you can do and there might even be some cross-overs from the forum-FUN section to the media-part. So there will be certainly things, but that will not always be necessarly big government organized games.

We haven't seen a cabinet list yet, does that mean that you will do everything on your own?
While sleep is definitly overrated, I belong to the type of eBelgian citizen that does need occasionally, like once a week, that little 15 minute power nap, making that I would not have time enough to do everything 😁 I have already a few names written down, however there are indeed still positions that could be created or need to be filled still. I have PM'd all the Party Presidents, since they know their members the best, and I hope that I still get some requests from citizens. I know that there are citizens that are without party, but also they can apply. Just send me a PM and tell me that you want to become a part of the government. Everyone that is willing to do some work, is respectfull to other people and follows the eBelgian legislation is welcome!

Thank you very much for your time, NLSP

So NLSP has already a lot of good ideas but he can use your brains for more ideas. Also if you want to take up a job in the government, this is still possible, if you just contact NLSP. It is the advice from The Weekly Prophet, that you should in the Honour of our Glorious Founder, NLSP, become a part of the NLSP-government and help build a better eBelgium. (rk)
