DMV's own words of what he offered eCanada last month and plans to do this month.
"In my last term as President I brought our nation closer to our long time former friend, the eUS. I successfully navigated entry into CoT as well in my last term, and I believe I am the leader eCanada requires to gain full membership in CoT. With my opponents you are forced to choose between bread and circuses, but I am the only candidate who is offering bread and circuses."
But guess what?!?!?
This crowning achievement of you navigating us through the abyss into CoT seems to have been a wet dream turned nightmare. Luckily it is ending almost as quickly as it began, a great case of epic fail good sir.
So instead of your bread, circuses, and visionary architectural goal to build the new world trade center complex here in eCanada once elected. Why not do stick to what you do best, typing them digits on that AmEx card of yours leaving a real leader to get elected or if not a good ol repeat of being wiped for Rylde's incompetence at the least.

I've always been legitimate and tbh eCanada needs strong leadership I am more then happy to provide what I can to the cause. You seem to agree I know what I am doing.

It has been over since the fall of Eden, and we are still waiting for TWO's implosion. CoT was never the problem or the solution. CoT was just a stop gap for us to hang our hat while waiting for TWO to realize how boring this stupid domination is while we try to stay on the map.
To say the collapse of CoT is failure of our foreign policy is completely naive of what real problem is. My hope is that this will spur on the reset of alliances that this game so badly needs.
No where in this article did I suggest CoT was anything at all, it was a failure of the policy of DMV however. For the very reason you suggest it was never a solution and the only reason he advocated for it was so we could be on the same side of the US. You play this game to win, not to help the loser.
CoT was the best of a bunch of bad options. CoT break up may just get the ball rolling. We are no worse off today then if we had not joined. Remember our allies were our allies before we put a few letters behind our name.
TWO won't implode, but some members will defect if provided a better opportunity. It will be challenging to develop such an opportunity.

I don't blame DMV for pushing the CoT option, it was the best/strongest alliance outside of TWO. The problem is that its no match for TWO and the past two months have been an outright spanking of the power nations of CoT.
TWO will splinter without an enemy to fight. Entertainment needs an antagonist and a protagonist, and TWO now lacks a partner to make good entertainment.
will they? If they still got good bonuses why break apart, they will still have some RW to fight for awhile...
The problem is I do not know if I will play in 2 months. I care about none of the battle, this weekly challenge thing is joke.
