CoS Office: This Week in Preview

Day 2,827, 18:50 Published in USA USA by Office of the Chief of Staff

Good evening, folks, from the Chief of Staff’s office!

This week’s issue is our second of the new CoS Office Series! Every weekend, we will collect the plans of each eUSA Cabinet Leader and publish them for the public to see! In this way, we hope to increase visibility between citizens and their government and to keep the Cabinet accountable to its citizens. This week in Preview:

State Department

In the upcoming week, Trekker, our Secretary of State, plans to put his deputies to work! He is delegating getting in touch with allies that he isn’t currently in touch with to his deputies. He will be asking each deputy to pick two countries and start a dialogue with their government leaders.

Department of Defense

Secretary of Defense Senryaku reports that USAF is in the middle of restructuring and a complete overhaul of their commune system. Everything is hinging for them on “Roster v2 being everything that we hope it will be.” They plan to take into account the results of a survey which suggested that members would like to be more involved in the new command structure. They plan to restructure communes to put them “right in the thick of the housing industry.” This has been modeled after EZ Company’s structure. Senryaku would like to thank Gnilraps for his assistance in this endeavor. Beyond this, USAF plans to keep business as usual, training our nation’s new members in the ways of the military module!

Senryaku admitted that USAF is pretty much his only job at the moment. “We tried AA (Arm America). It went pretty bad. I don’t think that I’ll ever do it again.”

Unfortunately, NSC Chair RaccoonGoon was unable to give a report this weekend due to his intense sleeping schedule. Rumor has it that he was awake for 40 hours working on the Paraguy Airstrike. He has, apparently, awakened, however. As Senryaku put it “RaccoonGoon went to sleep and woke up, which was a surprise. We all thought that he’d be asleep for another 10 years at least.” We look forward to hearing his plans for the week when he has recovered.

Department of Citizen Affairs

MrCarey, our Secretary of Citizen Affairs focusing on Education, is pleased to announce that he met with two players from eIndia earlier this week. The DoCA plans to help these men start their own University program for eIndian players, modeled on the American University that we have in our own DoCA now! Another player from eFrance is also interested in starting a version of AU, and is in contact with MrCarey! “It turns out” says MrCarey “our program is rather prestigious!”

In our own DoCA, the former DoE website is being transformed into the new DoCA website and updated with new information as I write this! If there are technical difficulties along the way, they will be resolved soon! Beyond this, American University and the Question of the Day continue strong activity and growth!

Aramec, our Secretary of Citizen Affairs focusing on Interior, is also pleased to announce a couple of upcoming events. First, the DoCA plans to bring back the Citizen Spotlight articles that Blande used to publish. Aramec also hopes to start a writing tourney! Keep a look out for those upcoming, exciting events!

I, Jaden A., am in the process of writing the next in the Party Ed Series, on AMP. Between long wait times for responses on quotes from AMP members and getting sick yesterday, that has been delayed, but I hope to publish it in a day or two. If you have something that you’d like me to include whether you are a member of AMP or not, please don’t hesitate to message me with a quote!

Other than this, it is business as usual in Interior. Orikfrical had a brain fart and forgot to fill BU2SU requests for a couple of days, but that is back on track now! Bewbs 4 Newbs and Meals on Wheels continue to fill orders this week.

Media Department

Derphoof, our Secretary of Media and man on the mic plans to host another episode of eNPR on Monday at 10pm est. Watch for his links to come out and be sure to join the party at #eNPR to give feedback to the hosts and comment to other members of the audience.

Trying to pick up on the lack of WHPR until late this past week, he hopes to put two WHPRs out this week. The first will include PDB briefs, and the second will be a regular WHPR, to be published by Friday at the latest. Keep a look out for these and be sure to subscribe for important government information in a timely manner!

Department of Technology

Middletopia’s report for the next week was short and to the point. “Two new videos are coming out this week. That’s all that I’ve got to say as of right now.” We look forward to see what you’ll come up with this week, Middletopia!

Department of Homeland Security

Unfortunately, due to a new job in real life, Beerman has resigned as Secretary of Homeland Security. BeachBunny and Blande are currently on the prowl for a replacement Secretary. So, like most weeks in recent history, this week includes no plans for this department.

Department of Retirement Affairs

Finally, DMJohnston was kind enough to come out of his hermit hole to say that the “Department of Retirement Affairs is doing fine” in today’s PDB!

This week, the CoS office will be putting out messages to Party Presidents asking for tributes for deputy positions in Media and FA. Let us know if you would like to help out in the Cabinet. There is much to be done! Don’t hesitate to contact me, Jaden A. I will find a way for you to contribute and learn the ins and outs of our Cabinet!

Have a good night and week, eUSA, and get active in your government!
