Greeting from Columbus and my own mind. I've made the decision about how the contest will go, I hope you all enjoy it, I know I will, if plenty of people participate. This will be for money, but hopefully you'll get some enjoyment out of simply showing off your talent.

So here's how it will go, first, I will make another article tomorrow and you will submit your entries by posting a comment. In this comment I would like you to write a creative writing style story about something that has happened to you in the new world/eRepublik. Make sure to include a lot of detail and try and be creative.

Once enough people have submitted, I will set up another article. People will comment on that one with the name of the writer they think wrote the best article. There will be prizes for most popular and for Royamen's favorite. The article with the most votes will get 125USD and the one that I like the best will also get 125USD. If in the course of participating in this you realize you might want to write for me in the future let me know.

So, once enough people view this entry so I know people realize why I'm posting the other article, I will post it and you may commence your creative writings. Also, please let me know in comments on here what you think of my contest. And last, but certainly not least, thank you so much to all 8 people who subscribed to my newspaper, I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings.

A final note, if you're from another country and can write in English, then you are more then welcome to participate.

I will donate 50 USD to get this thing going ^__^ but like TGM i am also working on campaign articles are will likely not be around to participate, but this does sound like a great idea, my only advice/suggestion would be to give people a little more time to get ready, if they have to write it soo soon, they may not all be ready, but this seems like a great idea and i would hate to have it go unnoticed

Well tell everyone you know about it. I will be posting the contest soon, but until I get a good amount of entries I won\'t end it. Alright, so the prizes are now up to 125 dolllars each. Anyone else want to invest in the creative energy of the people of eRepublik?
