Congressman Booleus Stance on Peace with eUK

I will make it very clear right now. Although I understand this was an EDEN-wide decision, I will not in any way support peace with the eUK.
For those that weren't around in the summer, there are a few points that you should realize.
1. The UK switched sides. For those that say they were honest about when they switched sides, I'll show you PEACE GC messageboard screenshots that show that they were traitors long before they admitted it.
2. The UK blocked us. Because they didnt have an open war with us, they held our territories and crippled us from getting them back. This action resulted in us:
a) losing our treasury
b) losing all of our political parties to France
All it would have taken is a 2 pronged attack on the eUK to wipe out London, we would have done it after a few tries. Instead we are giving them their territories back.
the eUK gains:
a) their territories
b) security in knowing that they will not lose their whole country.
we gain:
a) the security of knowing that the eUK can not attack us without opening another war (this is only if they hold up their end of the bargain).
The biggest mistake here is that we are trusting a country who has betrayed us twice (they violated a NAP that jacobi signed with them) to hold up their end of the bargain second. Big mistake! There is no reason for them to close the wars once they have their territories back.

While I agree with the sentiment (honestly, I do), the pure mechanics point of view is what results in my leaning towards this being a good thing for everyone.
I hope they won't backstab us.... I'll feel better when the peace treaty will be signed.
This isn't being decided by us. I can say yeah, let's go attack the UK but we can't win USA+Canada vs 17 MPPs. This war was decided by our allies. We just don't have enough cohesion and direction.

We will see how EDEN go's about closing the open wars with the UK. Lets hope they are smart with that than they are about this! And this after the promised to put they're selfish wants aside..... Ya right!

This Situation reminds me of WW3 When eUSA Offered eRussia a Treaty that would allow PEACE to keep california and eUSA would have to pay to get each reigon that eUSA previously owned back, and guess what? Russia rejected it, and in the end, lost EVERYTHING they had in North America. I feel a simular thing would have happend to EDEN if we ignored this Treaty.
It's Time to end this cycle of Diplomatic Failure.
However, Ireland should keep NI.
If the treaties are indeed signed then I think this was a positive move. If they fuck us over once again they wont be getting another chance.
I definitely agree with Booleus on here. I started in PA right before the eUK occupation and I hate them. They're imperialistic slimebags who should be completely annhilated at once.
