Congressional elections summary
Nagrix
First of all, I’d like to greet the new congressmen, I hope you’ll lead eCanada to prosperity and glory. However, some of yours experience, devotion and intentions put a question – will you?
A few new and young faces got their seats – e.g. PopandLock, SpockPQ, MrBrightsideDW. Especially the latter one’s competency is questionable. During over 2 months of his eLife he didn’t manage to get any HW medal. I wish he wouldn’t be a two-click type, let’s give him a try. Another controversial person is Samuel de Champlain, accused of treason, found unguilty by the court. I’m not much familiar with this issue but he certainly doesn’t arouse my respect. To counter them, the majority of congressmen are, luckily, meritorious. We’re saved!

As we can see, CSD disposed their votes most efficiently, a bit better than CPF. However, both of those parties were too small to compete with DAL who passed 12 candidates - their (ours) strength lays in numbers. It’s interesting that nea milosu, DAL’s PP, didn’t get into the congress. UN proved to be poor at managing as well but their limited manpower intensified this and they ended up having only 6 seats. It’s just one more than the smallest party, CPP, who got 5.
Presence at the elections was 29,79%. It’s slightly better than in February (27,05
😵but much worse than in January (34,15
😵. Although it might look bad at first, the average for 15 biggest countries is around 26,3%. Still, I think we should strive for encouraging newbies to be active.

Great article, great summary 🙂
V+S!
Arrgghh!
V&S good job!
Voted. 🙂
Good info.
Keep it up Nosyt 😉
We're not pleased with those results at the UN, we could have done better with our greater membership than in February. Although, this is still an improvement from the 5 seats we had last time (the 6th was NARC). Our political weight increased, but not in line with what we should have done (7 or 😎.
Unlike some other parties, all our congressmen are staying with us. The DAL/CPF have at least 1 each leaving, and maybe the CSD as they had CNC candidates running with them.
The membership concentration in eQuebec (90-95😵 is a big challenge to overcome. Gradually, we will continue to strengthen our base members available to work in other provinces (and next time this will be handled more rigorously). Note that the Alberta/Ontario votes were not the result of strategic voting, we got some votes there but we're still too far behind in those to get wildcards (they appear waisted vote but they were new votes). No doubt we need to run in those provinces and someday we'll be able to pick seats there as well (perhaps one in each province).
It's nevertheless a pretty good article, voted!
lol, the fact that the other parties have people leaving just shows that we are nice to the non-top 5 parties, unlike... certain other parties that are keeping all their congressmen...
Karsten, last election we elected 6 and kept 5. The NARC chose to go with the DAL this time.
