Congressional Elections - IFP Ideals

Day 1,678, 11:17 Published in Ireland Ireland by Ronisu

We come again to this exciting time, the Congressional Elections. The IFP will be running a full slate of candidates (There will be another article later today to talk about our slate of candidates and to link you to some of the issues they have at heart). I wish the fellow parties good luck as we all move into this challenging election with two fewer regions. Anyhow, I thought I might talk a bit about the IFP:

The IFP is a growing party where members play an active role in determining party platform and policy. Even now the party is in the midst of working on redefining and restating our platform. We are a center-right party that would like to see several goals achieved. Firstly, we believe it is important for the government to coordinate the Military Units in such a way as to provide to most interest and fun for Irish Citizens. In this new term we will be communicating with the President and Minister of Defense to attempt to present our ideas for the Military Module since the changes (I will post a later article to that effect).

We believe in a clear and necessary tax system, but not an excessive tax system. We would like to propose a Congressionally Proposed Audit Board to look over the finances and advise Congress and the People as to what is possible and what isn't. This is by no means a criticism upon the honesty or abilities of our Minister of Finance, but rather what we believe is a reasonable system to safeguard and inform the nation even if our Minister of Finance may change.

Now, there are a lot of gaps here, that much is clear, but through this Congressional Term we will be continuing to define ourselves as a party. Now for the pitch...... Come! Join your voices with ours and define a party that has your Freedom at heart, Join the Irish Freedom Party!
