Congressional Election Tomorrow

Day 339, 03:45 Published in Japan Switzerland by Antonio Fonti

Just reminding everyone that elections for congress are tomorrow and that we should all try to get our votes in for tomorrow and make it a large turnout for Japan.

The Japanese Unity Party has already outlined its candidates and policies, here is a copy -

"It gives me great honour to now show the people who i have put up as "proposed candidates" for this great party, i've been sent many messages asking for a top place and many reccomendations from current President King Waseem on who he feels deserves this chance. These are the people (in no specific order) who will be standing on the 25th, they all have the experience to qualify for this position (level 12 and above i believe) and will certainly do a great job if they are voted in to serve this great nation.

Goals In Congress

The JUP, after 3 successgul terms in control of congress have passed favourable and popular acts that have benefited the nation greatly, under Waseem's helm the NPJ (as it was called before) paved the way for the minimum wage, fair taxes and much more. To continues with this legacy we propose that with a JUP controlled congress we will:
.Promise to keep King Waseem in his current role until the 5th, he has done an amazing job over his 3 terms in charge of the nation and deserves our respect, so while he is still President, he will not be impeached and every law proposed should be passed through him first.

. Raise the minimum wage to 2JPY, to benefit those just starting off and therefore providing more disposable income for them. This will almost certainly lead to an increase in profits for the food industry with new Citizens spending more in that market.

. Work towards an acceptale tax structure for the 5 new industries in V1, which current have all taxes on them set at 0%. We will do this through discussion in the forums. (Waseem has already provided plans for taxes, these may run over the 25th so we will continue to support what he has proposed.)

.A lower citizen fee, now this may seem bad however in the long term it provides citizens with incentive to go out and find a job instead of living off the money given to them by the government, for example if the citizen fee was 12JPY, that would provide for for about 14 days, that's half a month to find a job, still plenty of time. It will also lower the strain on the Countries treasuries which can deplete rapidly with other projects such as the Nippon Training companies.

. And much more...

Thank you for reading and remember to vote for the most experienced and the people with the best plans on the 25th. "

Remember to vote Tomorrow and on the 5th.
