Congressional Election Speech

Greetings everyone! I am Wade Seagrave (Yes, that is my actual name. My parents didn’t realize the irony of the two names until I was 14... Then they apologized, but I like it lol) and I am running in the January of 2009 Congressional Elections! This is my very first attempt for a [eRepublik] government position. Why? A great philosopher once said, “Never be afraid to do something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic.”

I am currently looking forward to a term of Congress. I have many new ideas I would like to push, if not implement. I am always happy to accept everyone’s advice, and even their criticism. I have ideas to implement using SADD, the military, and in the government in foreign policy. eUSA has run very well, and there is no reason that we shouldn’t be winning every war, have the strongest running economy, and simply being the greatest country in the world. I would like to work with citizens and officials to get the maximum outcome for this great nation.

Now, I won’t be like the normal politician in the real world and promise the world’s biggest change and that everything will be all fine and dandy the next day, but I would like to start working towards that.

I have been put well behind in the predictions for this race. Every place people suggest a winner, I am behind. Even my party leader, old platoon leader, current platoon members are generally only giving me a 40% chance of winning. Well, I guess it’s time for a classic (e)American underdog story! Regardless of my chances, I want to push forward and give my best efforts.
