Congress

I hereby announce that I shall not be standing in next months congress elections. I have recently looked over the results from the last election and I'm appalled. A large number of congress got elected by 1 vote! I mean it's simple enough to just apply for elections and vote for yourself and you've got it. I myself only got 2, does that really mean I am fit to serve as a spokesperson for the countries people? What's worse is that 1 of those votes was me!
So instead I'll put my vote to better use and vote for someone else. It's not as if becoming a congressman means anything anyway, every time I log in now I see another person has dropped out for some reason or another. So I shall see how it like from outside the congress, hopefully this won't have to become something of a habit and we can put the congress in it's important position as it should be.

Says the congressman who went inactive and failed to keep the health system going.
Meh, to be honest i'm done in Ireland. Nothing gets done here ( and it's not just me) I'm off to soldier for a while.
sheepyhair being congress does mean something. Though to you obviously commitments mean nothing to other being congress is a duty to ones country.
Too many people from one party running for Congress can actually hurt the party. If I had run for Congress last month, Theus wouldn't have gotten in.
the problem is that the devs decided to create a "one size fits all" congressional system. that means Ireland and the United States have the same number of congressmen, which makes no sense considering we dont have enough votes for 50 congressmen. If it was reduced to 2 or 3 per county, then we'd have elections that meant something
