Congress September 2011 - CanVision Enters the Legislature

What a day! For the first time ever, CanVision has seen our first Congressman be elected, Bunsen HoneyDew in New Brunswick! I would like to thank EPIC for letting him run under their banner as well as Kronos Q for assisting us in our success. I would also like to thank all CVP members and other voters who helped us achieve this great milestone!

Now that CanVision has successfully entered Congress what can you expect by our one man caucus? We want to show others from the larger parties that we can still make a large difference in the nation no matter our size. Mr. HoneyDew will be more active than ever debating on nearly every issue and representing our thoughts on congress. We currently do not have a strong issue that we would like to tackle, not until we become more developed and are willing to bring bigger changes to our Nation and Congress but rest assured, this is the next big step for CanVision.

And because I love statistics and Sperry isn't here to do those shiny and cool graphics for us, I'll just put into perspective of how last night went. Since the Southwest of England had no candidates, we ended with a total of 38 Congress members.

CPP should be applauded for reaching the largest amount of votes (216 votes!) and congratulations to both CPP and EPIC for winning 12 seats each. Union Nationale was able to trump Norsefire in seats but lost to them in the number of votes. Starting today, let's create a better Congress for eCanada, now that CanVision is able to help. 😉

Congratulations to CVP for a good showing. As a member of the other new-to-Congress party, I hope that his is a sign of change within eCanada.

BTW - I like your party slogan. "Together our vision can be acheived" fits nicely into "Strength Through Unity, Unity Through Faith." Perhaps there is hope for the CVP after all.
