Day 737, 00:14 Published in South Africa South Africa by mulderpf

Congratulations to everyone that was elected to congress!

PLEASE NOTE: This article is based on preliminary results and results will confirmed later.

Despite rumours going around that congress is elitist and new faces are not welcome and it being difficult to get into congress, we have many new face around here!

Yeah sure, our congressional seat count doubled, but, based on the number of votes, if you disregard the bottom 20, we still have a VERY large number of new congressmen.

The following congressmen & women are new this term - a whopping 28!:
Alby
Ari Lumumba
Arqam
atliia
Cesog fillireb
Enbaros
FredrickVonHauptstadt
Gert Steenkamp
GreyHunter
Hamilton Moore
Karl Bauer
Lazer Fazer
Lee Richards
LiquidIce
Luc Praetor
Mark Morcom
Matt Beta
maxpayne50
mb2612
Mike Hawkhertz
mulderpf (Yeah! That's me!!)
Ojacious
richie450
Ryan Fisher
Sakyo
Sandar Cain
Travis Granger
wincenty1

That's 70% of congress - all willing to take on their new responsibilities.

Then there are the congressmen & women that are back for this term:
Amun Nefer
Azreal
Champinator
Exilious
Frank Furglar
Guss1972
Ines Schumacher
Little Missy
marioXXL
Remon777
Robert Reid
Stagnation

Welcome back, I'm looking forward to working with you.

Farewell to the following outgoing congressmen & women:
Ali Mentary
Oceanus
ERDWURM
Epic Thoughts
Awrek
Jan Olivier
Ryan Dagari

It seems like some of these guys were willing to make space for new faces.

Last minute note:
Exilious had 4 votes until 23:59 and at the VERY last minute kicked Max Rand out of the race and made it into congress just in time. A new face that couldn't make it in for the sake of an old one...sorry Max!

Good luck to all the congressmen & women for the next term!

Best regards
