Seems the link to this was taken away from me as I have a "No Presentation" tag under my name...

So, I'll repost it..

Congressional Election Manifesto

Dear citizens of the United Kingdom,

I write to you as a Government Minister, a previous and current Congressman, a Party President and General Manager, but most importantly, a fellow citizen of the United Kingdom.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to any of you that don't know me or haven't heard of me before.

I've been playing Erepublik for a little over 4 months now, and I've enjoyed almost every minute of it so far.

I began my political career by running for the position of Mayor in Bristol. I tied with my competitor and he was given the position due to his superior experience. During the same elections, another of our members, some of you may remember, AngelFeather beat back the bookies odds and won the position of Mayor of London against his main competitor Stan Wephen. After a short while, AngelFeather went inactive, and I pledged my support to maintain TUP's good name by joining the London Council and began working with London Legend; Stan Wephen.

Since then I have held the following positions: Member of the London Council, Mayor of London, Under Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of The Unity Party.

I have recently shed a few of those titles, making way for a bigger and brighter future, I now hold the following positions: Minister of Foreign Affairs, President of The Unity Party, Member of Congress and Director of Zycon Industries. All of which I am putting a lot of effort into, each and every day.

So, enough of my history, what can I offer over all the other competitors?

Experience - I've been in Erepublik a lot longer than most of the competitors. I know how the game works, what needs to be done both in-game and on the forums for a Congressman.

Activity - I have and will maintain an entirely active role within the House of Commons; helping to improve and create proposals to better the UK in any way possible.

Contacts - I have an extensive list of personal contacts, which spans the globe. This allows me to be in contact with many Government Ministers and Employees both within the UK and abroad. This may not sound like much on paper, but a lot of conversations are held over real time messenger programs such as MSN that would otherwise not happen at all, which allows influential political members to get together and discuss the current situations and any possible solutions.

Conclusion

If you want someone that has already proven themselves to be a more than capable member of congress, then please, send me a vote 🙂

If you want someone who can guarantee to put the people and their principles first, then please, send me a vote 🙂

If you are the kind of person that would like to see things get done, furthermore, in the right way, then please, on the 25th put a tick next to Squiddy.
