Congress: A Breakdown
Cadfan
Hi, I’m Cadfan!
😃
Firstly, I decided to change my newspaper name. So, behold my new newspaper, Word of the Strider! Before I start, I would like to thank YUUVA for the opportunity to serve a second term in Congress.
🙂
I have analysed the results of the recent elections for congress and here is my take on it. Last month we experienced a mini baby boom with lots of new people joining here in eIndia, however there was no evidence of that in the total number of votes this month. This election came too soon for them as I can conclude as many of them will have not reached Adult status yet and so could not vote, so here’s hoping the number of the votes will rise next elections.
Now to look at the actual vote counts for each party. YUUVA once again kept the majority in congress with 41.82% and this actually stopped a downwards curve on the graph – other parties had been increasing in popularity over the past few months, and YUUVA dropped from 49% down to the low 40’s during this period.
NB: The Indian Liberation Front party wasn’t founded before the November elections, and the September elections contained The Homies Party, which I ignored.
The data of the number of voters produced the exact same graph as above with the only difference being the numbers on the y axis.
The other thing I decided to have a look at was the turnout for each party assuming no one changed party. I took this data just after the elections had closed and they showed some interesting results.
The results show that Jai Hind had the biggest turn out for their party members. Everyone else had at least 60% of their members vote. Indian Liberation Front and YUUVA had exactly two thirds of their members turn up to vote.
And finally, here’s a bar graph of the results for these elections alone:
So all in all, a good election for YUUVA to stop the downward trend and for Jai Hind who climbed above the other parties and is looking like the 3rd biggest party in eIndia.

Aragorn!!!! I will take some more arrows for you
Congressional elections have been traditionally not a good measure of the active players as more people tend not to vote in those. The CP elections are a more accurate tool for judging weather the population is increasing or decreasing.
Also there as recently some foreigners that left, so considering that, numbers remaining the same actually mean a modest increase. New players that do not vote is usually due to not having an informed opinion as of yet, rather then not being able to in any case the initial work on bringing ne players is a good start but should not be by any stretch of the imagination taken as satisfactory, it needs to continue relentlessly until the population reaches a minimum of 500-600 voting active players.
Keep up the good work and keep getting new players invited to the game.
You left out Homies Party!? Citizenneel and Prabal, call for action!
Good Analysis bro... keep it up...

Great article, looking forward to read more... Keep up the good work.
good one cadfan....keep it up!
Interesting that India United turnout is only 60%, it was over 100% for the PP elections.
Also interesting that Yuuva climbed to 67% after their abysmal showing of 40% at the PP elections.
It is nice to see such ardent partisan support for the congressional elections, good job eIndia.
