Canadians have spoken. I would like to join all Canadians in offering congratulations to Bruck on his election victory. The power of your coalition was clearly unstoppable. I look forward to seeing how our country evolves under your leadership. I am happy to offer any assistance that you might need.

I would also like to offer congratulations to Dominik. He has taken a new party from obscurity to a contender in the Canadian political arena. It will be interesting to see how the RFP evolves in the coming days and weeks.

To all my supporters, I thank you. We were not victorious this time. The next election is only 30 days away. We will be ready to face our opponents again. In that battle, we will be victorious!

Although we have been defeated in this election, the CSD remains the voice for all Canadians. We will continue to work to ensure that all citizens—new and old, CAF and civilian—are given the respect and consideration that they deserve. We will be vocal in our support for positive change. At the same time, make no mistake; we will be equally vocal in our opposition to policies that cater to a minority of our citizens. I call on all CSD members to ramp-up their activity. We must work to ensure that Canada remains strong for all Canadians!

Finally, thank you to all Canadians for sharing your ideas and opinions over the past two terms. I believe that our great nation is better today than when I first took over. That is a testament to the spirit and determination of all of us.
