Congratulations to Marcus Suridus on this very very close election. His main opponent
was Jacques Cousteau. My condolences go out to Jacques as he seemed like a very good candidate.

As those reading the news will know, he won by a very narrow vote namely 92-89. They were neck and neck for a long time up until the end and Marcus secured the victory.

Marcus is very involved with the Irish Army and has been acting president once before. I wish him the very best of luck with his presidential reign. Hard luck Jacques. Next time!
