Complaints about new/old regime
Anon Bliss
I’m seeing a lot of people that are getting seriously annoyed that a lot of older players have come back to play and are rising back into the seats they left empty. I’m not saying complaining is a bad thing to have it makes things noticed and opinions known, but with all the raging that people are doing they are forgetting very fundamental things that should be happening. You still represent japan and you need to work to make it better if you don’t the activity that the newer players and the experience that the older players bring will be for not.
the major issues that most of the older players have with the younger ones is that they aren’t listening to what is being said only to what they believe is best, that is not a bad thing but it isn’t the right thing. I was once a young citizen with dreams and aspirations of helping out shaping japan. I did help to maybe not as noticeably as other not with a cabinet or leading of people into frays but by taking stands and making my voice heard, it doesn’t carry much weight on its own but with others around it can.
I’m just as equally as appalled by the fact that you can’t seem to accept the fact that we are here again and are going to help japan as we did. There are things that can constantly be improved the older players have more experience when it comes to politics and running the different positions but you can focus on tasks that help out, be active learn from what we are saying and promote more activity in the country
To say something else when we returned we had more change happen in 2 weeks than in the past 3 months you can help just listen to what japan needs not to what you think helps.
And no some of us will still call you newfags we wont stop until you get past playing for over 2 years than some of us will consider it.

"the major issues that most of the older players have with the younger ones is that they aren’t listening to what is being said only to what they believe is best, that is not a bad thing but it isn’t the right thing."
I don't get it.
"And no some of us will still call you newfags we wont stop until you get past playing for over 2 years than some of us will consider it."
OH WAIT! now I do.
"And no some of us will still call you newfags we wont stop until you get past playing for over 2 years than some of us will consider it."
Oh wow, back in my day, I was called an old fag by the time I was 8 month old. How quickly things change.
Well, correct, younger ones should listen to older guys. But in the form of guidance to help the newbie develop – not a diktat. Rightly or wrongly, that is how new guys see this exodus of returning guys – completely changing the order that they created and thought worked pretty well.
The way you go about those changes is what offends them, not the changes themselves. Correct, older players have more experience, but a newbie’s opinion should be equally valued, for they often have a fresher outlook. Also, what is wrong with a new guy running a position? It helps him/her gain experience, and he/she has the potential to do it better than an old guy. It’s happened quite a lot.
Yes, I get your point, but the key to a better society is collaboration and understanding their point of view as well. Otherwise the problems will just continue. They should be welcomed, not, for want of better words, pushed down.
Oh well, I'm just a foreigner. No need to listen to me. : P
And curse character limits.

Oh, the good old time. When I was born here, it was the same, but strenght
Go Alector. well said
Alector, you're incorrect in thinking we simply came back and instantly just tried to take over. The fact is they did not want us here because we simply didn't fall in line with their little clique they had going on, or the fact they felt we held no more power and that our opinions held little weight. It became this way due to the uncooperative atmosphere on both sides, and the fact as eJapanese, we do not tolerate being told what we can and cannot do in our own country by foreign nations or -
a cluster of newbies whom have gathered around the ex-President simply for the sake of attempting to garner some power (I know this for a fact as at least two individuals have told me it's simply more beneficitial to agree with Sumeragi's ideas rather than oppose her even if they disagreed with her). While I'm not certain all of them are that way, we are fairly nice and generous towards new players in eJapan that are cordial and respectful to us -- we have no reason not to be respectful back.
I'm speaking to you as an official to disregard whatever rumors or allegations you've might have heard from remnants of the former administration; if we were so anti-newbie or anyone not like us, I would not be attempting to get people like Kitarou Yuki, FriedRice, Bunga, or Shinigamieyed (whenever he actually stops being busy to respond to my queries) into the cabinet to assist the nation; or attempting to establish tutorials for newbies as an educational way to know exactly --
how to play certain roles as a new member in a cabinet position, congress, etc. We don't want this country run by the same people over and over, however we don't want it run like a clique or completely ruled by fear or power corrupt individuals. Everything that is occurring right now in eJapan is happening for a coordinated goal, and while many can't see the larger picture at the moment, they'll come to realize it once they take their partisan blinders off.
Nowe, chill. This article is basically saying: 'sit still, do what you're told and don't say anything.'
I'm not accusing you or anyone of disrespect, but this article is pretty poor taste tbh.
I am not taking it to be representative of the current govt's views, but rather those of an individual. o7
Nowe, given the first thing you do is to resort to personal insults, you are hardly one who should be saying anything in any official capacity for eJapan
@Nowe
That's right, I'm pretty busy all the time, but if I missed some query, please PM me 😁
Just who are these imaginary "groupies" in this "cluster of newbies" supposed to be anyway? Nowe keeps repeating that they exist but I do not think I have ever met one.
Anon, as far as I know, no one is objecting to older players coming back. They are objecting to Nowe and a handful of others making asses of themselves. Even after that, I have said that Nowe is welcome here and I am glad he is back. But all the accusing and willful ignoring of people is a bit much.
If you don't want to be treated like a "clique", then don't make up too many "clique" stories yourself. 😁
It's annoying to see two groups fighting each other with almost the same arguments instead of simply solving the problem by applying the behaviour they demand from the other side on themselves.
Thanks, Lyuline. 😁
I believe Nowe's second sentence pretty much sums up the problem: Quite a few people deluded themselves into thinking people were forming cliques and then went and established one themselves.
Given that the supposed "Sumeragi Groupie" is comprised of people that tried to bring me down from the start of my term because they thought I was a Geezus puppet, I think we can see how absurd the delusion is.
Constructive criticism is appreciated, but spreading outright lies shouldn't be tolerated.
Anon means well, he just didn't word it effectively.
I know he means well. Just stating how I see the problem.
I also know you mean well, although frankly how you say it doesn't sit too well with me.
When someone acts like a groupie, then that is what they can be called. No one is spreading any lies, just because someone does not agree with another when they've first met does not mean they are incapable of being influenced in the present, ergo becoming a puppet or as I like to call it a groupie. The fact you're trying so very hard to discredit everything I say as a lie is absolutely wonderful, though again, I know much of this for a fact due to IRC conversations.
Not going to name names however, but please return to your daily routines, Sumeragi.
As for the rest: 2lzy, you can inquire more some other time when it's not on an article, because replying to every little thing would be absolutely horrible.
Something like saying I'm getting kickbacks from eROC is an outright lie. Frankly, how far are you going to spin things?
"Want to know something interesting? From some sources I've heard the only reason Sumeragi tried to push the terms through to eROC was because they were giving her a 20% cut of the 450g. While I'm not certain how valid the statement is, when you see things like this in which our exPresident shows no ends of her kissing up to eROC as a good puppet, a light is shined as to why she wanted to make us their colony a week ago."
Is not a lie. It is a rumor, a theory. Try to learn the difference.
Also, considering how often rumors populate through IRC and simply talking to individuals on both sides, try not to fault me for getting mixed up about everything about you. From stories of how you apparently steal from banks, to stories about how you're related to the Emperor of Japan, to stories of how you're a highschool drop out, to stories about your sexuality IRL.
I've done well to keep most of what I know low, however, as RL information and gossip has no place in a game.
Im older then all of you.

Mhmmm, just because someone is a veteran in the business doesn't mean they have the right opinion all the time. Experience can create false wisdom and can also lead to misconceptions and clumsiness about a situation. But heh, I guess I'm just a newbie right? So my opinion means nothing? (obviously sarcasm)
I think the best way to go about doing anything is to keep an open mind, just because something worked 100 times in the past does not mean it will work now.
I could be wrong of course, but in the end, we derive from all our experiences. Right or wrong, I am sure I will be satisfied with my decisions, because I believe in them now and analyzed the situation as well as I could before coming to a conclusion.
Sorry if that sounds really corny or something, but it's true!
